Funky farmer how many tractors do you have
tractors fitted with a hydro clutch so not the same issues as a conventional one. some valid points made though
do you still have two muck spreaders now?
Your a bit ruff on machinery

Hard on machinery
I was driving a tm yesterday and it seems to be a problem with the clutch
Going a bit fast on that first load going over that trac there was a bit of a hole muck spreader nearly tipes over great vid

yes its very sharp.i guess thats because its a hydro clutch, takes a bit of getting used to
The clutch looks a bit rough on that McCormick!

I put a video on my channel with a CX105 clutches are all very jerky on them - very hard to find the biting point of the clutch on them - its either all or nothing, seems to be a bit of a design flaw

Jim McKechnie I think your right jim. The cx95 we have is the same, maybe its something to do with it being a hydro clutch rather than a conventional sort.

thefunkyfarmer I know what u mean. I had to drive a case 895xl and you could never find the biting point. It was your waiting for it or breaking the seat setting off. But great vids
happy new year
luckily its only a mcormic but your right thats why you never buy a second hand loader tractor expecting the clutch to be good or the front axle and steering to be good because they just dont last when treated like this
This guy has to be one of the first KZread farmers.

@@thefunkyfarmer Bet there aren't many farmers that have been on KZread that long. None I've seen anyway.
How old is the spreader
I realise this is an old video. But I love it anyway.

Sorry I was confused. This is an old video. Take a look at the video I uploaded today to see the latest video
Do you have 2 muck spreaders or did you just change tractor
@thefunkyfarmer
7 жыл бұрын
2 spreaders
Why don't you open the lid on the spreader? makes loading so much easier and that what it's designed to do

Haha! we use to use a piece of wood. Good videos
Your running her to rough on the clutch!!
All tractor's are different really it all depends what it's doing, as you can see the ground around the muck is very uneven so u have to give it welly to get anywhere as such and no one knows his tractor better then him
Your breaking my heart
my uncle has a spreader like you but we dont use a tractor we fork it in takes us about an hour

Ya ive seen the same thing on a claas arion no smooth take off in it whatsoever clutch wasnt calibrated
Probably need to recalibrate the clutch just on the loader tractor
Not to labour the point, but I'm sure that clutch shouldn't be so harsh,it must be sending massive shock loads through the gearbox.I think it needs a dose of looking at!
@thefunkyfarmer

its been like that since we bought the tractor new so i always assumed that is how they are on the McCormick however after putting some vids on here and getting some comments i'm not so convinced. I think i might get someone to take a look at it

thefunkyfarmer with some masses especially the ones with dyna 6 in the early 2000's the clutches on them are that bad they just throw you about in the seat and nearly break you back! Cause we have a 6465 dyna 6 and I like it in the way it's a smooth tractor on the road but close quarters I would rather get another tractor!
The clutch just needs to be calibrated, 10 min job
how many mccormick du you have on the farm?:)

Nothing dangerous with using 2wd while spreading at all Ok if you was on slopes then yeah 4wd would be a better option but on flat 2wd is fine
