Are there haulers that can haul a Silverado in general? Or is this hauler the maximum size hauler?
Do you rent any bigger trailers?
I am wondering about a 2000 F250 single cab long bed with the 7.3 diesel, probably a no go. The weight of the trailer itself kills the net capacity

no it won't fit. this truck was a standard cab short bed. they are very rare. looks like they would make these trailers longer.
Too bad you can’t cross uhauls to Mexico. Would’ve been beneficial in some situations.
Speed limit 55? I planned on renting one in Texas and driving 1400 miles back to Minnesota. Am I really limited to that.

The average height from the ground to the top of the ball is 16 to 18 inches

Yes, however you will want to identify as an ‘89 S10 blazer.
So everyone's aware if it's not a two-wheel drive single cab short bed truck with stock tires on it a Silverado is not going on one of these trailers... I was actually shocked at this truck went on there I figured it was only a 77 inch wide trailer must be 79 or so, but yeah four wheel drive truck, any type of bigger tires, extended cab, or long bed definitely not going on this trailer. That is the only configuration of Silverado you can put on that trailer.
Is this safe, cause I'm trying to rent one and it's telling me my truck is overweight limits? And it's the same exact truck on this video.

The car hauler and Silverado weigh a bunch, so your vehicle will need to weigh enough and have the towing capacity to haul this towing combination. If it doesn't pass our hookup specifications, you can use one of our 15 ft trucks. Thoise have the towing capability to tow this combo.

@@AngSingha any of the U-Haul truck will work,expect the cargo van and the super small 8 foot box truck. So your gonna leave Cali, and go to Wisconsin? No more in and out burger,at least you will have Culver's

I'm sorry for the confusion. This video applies only to a base Model short bed with no cab extensions. Any feature beyond this makes truck too long or heavy for the auto transport. Our computer system would have cleared your truck if it fit within the parameters of our trailer. Sorry again!

We’re towing our 2020 Tacoma today. We just had to get a 15’ truck and we purchased our straps since the tires are oversized. U-Haul is the only company that will tow this size truck as of right now.

With the proper tools or help from friends to load the Car Hauler, towing a non working vehicle that fits within the weight, length and wheelbase capabilities of the trailer is acceptable.
