Still listening to this song in 2022. This song inspired me to fight for my son as I went thru years & years of hurdles with the family court system. I also fought thru years of false allegations, cps/criminal investigations, and crooked opposing attorneys,....but I stayed the course. I stood 10 toes down with my head up and my hands together in prayer. For that......I can say "I have my Lil Man" as I have full custody of my son which is rare for brutha's these days.

I think this song touchscreen me because this how I envision my future son and I relationship. I didn't have this type of relationship with my father. We never had that connection because he was in and out my life. I'm 29 now and that connection just ain't there. Basically me wanting that future connection with my son, prolly will feel the huge void left from the disconnection of me and my father.
