Load Testing Your APIs
Ғылым және технология
When building APIs, it is important to understand how your APIs perform with real-world users and how much concurrent traffic it is able to handle. In this video, we'll go over how you can load test your APIs using the collection runner in Postman.

This is perfect. Well done!
is this feature going to be paid/licensed version of Postman?
I don't see these 'Functional/Performance' options in my collection runner and I'm on the latest version

Performance tests run from the computer where the Postman desktop app is running (not in the cloud).
Can these data be exported to CSV?
How can I check with 1000, 10000 virtual users
Hey, I have one question this all request are sending at same time or there is minor difference ? And if not is that can be possible that we send lacs of request at same time?

Great question! We have a community page dedicated to more detailed Q&A, which you can find here: community.postman.com Feel free to link this video and add your questions and comments there so it has wider visibility and reach with the greater Postman Developer Community. Thank you!
I really need the feature so i can run my performance test in server not locally. this is not much beneficial to run locally
If you get a high error rate how do you go about changing the API code to reduce that ? Also what determines an acceptable error % in the test results ?

Yes I was thinking that, when specifying to managers the throughput of the system, would just below the first error be the number that it can handle ? Looking at his example graph, there are errors early on, despite the system then being able to later handle more users and a higher throughput later. So not really sure how to determine what the actual reliable throughput quantity is of the system

@@ivangutowski-smith6514Yeah exactly, it all still seems a bit vague to me.

Same here, if you find an answer please post so we can learn, thank you
Great feature, but it was hard for me to understand the spoken English, also the sound quality was rather poor. Anyway as I was saying I'm really excited by this feature!
