After a successful load out, the substation topside for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm left the yard in Hoboken early in the morning on Tuesday 24 January 2023. Belgian Federal Minister of Energy Tinne Van der Straeten was in Hoboken to witness the sail away.
The topside, weighing more than 4,500 tons, was transported to the Churchill dock. From there, it will be shipped to the German Baltic Sea for offshore installation early February.
