LNER B1 61306 Mayflower Steams through Haddenham & Thame Parkway! 27th May 2023

Another Steam Locomotive I got to capture in operation for the first time, this one being 61306 Mayflower, one of 410 locomotives originally built for the LNER Thompson Class B1, and one of only two that survived into preservation. Here it is hauling the Steam Dreams Excursion Railtour Train that started earlier in the day from London Paddington, which heads up to Oxford, as here it passes through the Haddenham and Thame Parkway railway station on the way. Was a blast!

The London and North Eastern Railway Thompson Class B1 #61306 "Mayflower" is one of the best British steam locomotives I have ever seen. It has a cool green color, with yellow text saying "British Railways" on its tender. Spectacular catch!
Although my primary interest is aviation I also have an interest in steam trains mainly from an engineering point of view, the same goes for my love of classic cars. Thanks for another great video Barney 😍🇬🇧👍👏
