To be fair, that is what incineroar is best at. Great up close frame data but shitty movement is pretty much that recipe. I'm honestly much more impressed with all his callouts on Kola. That to me is what really makes his opponents fear him most.

Heavy players like Skyjay have to have such incredible mental resilience. To play heavy is to often have your shit rocked for the first half of each stock. To not let that affect you and then come back from that takes fortitude.

Well it goes both ways. The heavy player has to have the resilience to not get tilted, and the opponent has to do the 50 percent combo, knowing it's a predicate to them getting the stock at all, and the heavy player will get it with a couple of moves.

​@IronFerret62 you don't play Bowser at top level. He is one of the easiest characters to learn and play at a low or mid level, but go to tournaments and you will get rolled over, unless you're Hero nowadays

As a competitive ultimate player, it was 100% a reaction. Though he preemptively kept the idea of Kola tech-rolling right on the platform in his mind prior to reacting, which made the execution easier.

that last stock in game 5 was insane

I could definitely tell that Kola was making some uncharacteristic mistakes in games three, four and five. I think once Skyjay got that momentum, Kola began to lose the mental game. Really unfortunate for my goat, but it is what it is.

I have known Kola for a long time and this has been a problem for him. He is good but once he starts to lose his nerves, it goes all down hill for him.

this is my fav kind of matches, where mental fortitude is tested properly props to skyjay! deserved win

The unstoppable object against the immovable object, we saw how in the first two games Kola's impetus totally dragged the tiger, but without a doubt Skyjay stood firm and showed who has the hottest fire within!

I swear guys like Snake Eyes and Skyjay who use heavies/grapplers always have nerves of steel and remain calm under pressure. They could probably defuse bombs and not blink 😅

At first, I didn’t think it was going to be five games because of the long wait; then it was! And not only that, It was a reverse 3 - 0!

Amazing game. Is incinroar the only character that can do that instant dunk on characters with up B? Usually its at least like 40-50% for other down airs.

Dedede can dunk at 0% with his Up-B too, problem is that it’s so hard to land without the opponent making an obvious and enormous mistake

Wow Skyjay has a mental of steel ! When I saw first 2 games I thought it will be it. But the reverse 3 games 🔥 I think Kola slow down thinking that he will win. I wondered why Skyjay doesn’t use Nair and Neutral B more often.

He probably opted for forward air more because of Roy's disjoint on his sword. Neutral air doesn't have the range

Skyjay execution was just impeccable. The spike hit was exactly at the ledge grabbing moment.
