Armadillo was so stressed during this set, I kept wincing at the player cam as he reacted to every time he got hit. His fingers almost betrayed him with that SD in the last game, but he pulled through. A nailbiter set.

Just picked up Lucario. The B neutral canceling and tech movement is harder than it seems. I keep screwing it up.

Double Team is such a great tool for Lucario in this matchup man

Great set and commentary right here. quiK has been a strong competitor across multiple Smash games, I feel like I don't see him often but he's great whenever he's on. Armadillo on the other hand has definitely made a strong case for Lucario when a lot of people have written the character off. I also have to commend the commentators and the production team for being able to fill the dead air when Armadillo left the stage without it becoming awkward, that's an undervalued skill. Yes, there was one issue with the commentary for this match, but the rest of it was enjoyable so I'll drop my pedantry for one moment and let it slide ;P

Good on Armadillo, Samus's up b gives me a headache. It's such a pain, and she has good enough air drift to get away, especially with platforms.

What a callout. He B reversed the aura sphere pulling his back to the opponent. Putting complete faith in the reverse charging hitbox. Mans WILD.

Can anyone explain how Armadillo recovered under the stage? Anytime I try that is bounce off the bottom and die.

@@Barbatoslol Thank you I'll give this a try. I always knew you could wall cling out of recovery but never knew how to do it.

In that last game he tried to kill him with his up b. Lucario can choose which direction the opponent is sent so if he hit samus she was 100% being sent to the right into the blast zone.

This match was so fantastic. 2 masters of their characters. Lucario's Aura was stronger when he was about to die, and in the same fashion Armadillo was in the zone just after he was struggling and about to lose. Amazing play.

Armadillo is pretty impacient on the ledge. If I was him, I would just took the damage from some bombs. Free aura, free rage and extra extreme speed distance

Is it an American accent or a kind of lisp that makes the R's sound so unusual? It's fascinating to listen to, don't get me wrong. Just waiting for the next R

Not to discredit armadillos win, but do people know you can just camp lucario after taking the first stock, no aura lucario ain't killing you

Man… quick play is no doubt the best samus out there but I feel like he let go of so many opportunities. He needs to to use his bombs more to cover areas/platforms where his opponent might land. Also, he does not exchange blows when on ledge, yes it’s risky but very rewarding with spikes and he definitely has the how. He is amazing but plays it a little too safe and won’t go for those risky but high rewarding set ups off stage.

@@cesarTorres-lj1df nah homie, he may have beat him once but in reality quiK n YB paved the way for the rest of us. QuiK has more precise play and has all the tech down, QuiK is nasty with SAmus man. I am liking Sisqui’s play style a bit more though as I prefer a more aggressive Samus. QuiK just gets caught up in his head sometimes, he needs to relax more and not waste opportunities just because they aren’t within the safety of the stage

@@twinfire04 that's the character unfortunately, Samus is just build that way, I agree is an extremely unfun character to play against. But Quik is not mid lol, he almost took a set to Mkleo at Vienna VCA and more recently went game 5 against Kola
