I don’t care what anyone say… Banks having his own run in 2004 was definitely needed for hip hop… AND HIM WEARING THE G UNIT SPINNING CHAIN IS THE CRAZIEST RAREST SHIT I EVER SEEN! I think now Yayo is the only member I haven’t seen wear the spinner chain. 50, Buck, Whoo Kid… I think even The Game got to wear it as a joke on “Wanna Get To Know You” video

Even D-Tay used to wear it.

@@JohnnyBlaze_616 you absolutely right. Good shit, I had to remind myself who D Tay but i forgot Young Buck homie got to wear that chain because Buck had the YB chain (Buck might not have his screws tight but the man had some crazy ass jewelry like the Beg For Mercy chain) I forgot about them mini G Unit chains, Mann you just bringing me back

@@quadjaysport Facts, bruh! Can't deny Buck's "Straight Outta Cashville" & "Buck the World" was 🔥! And yeah, his "Beg for Mercy" chain was hard. Way before the Migos got a chain with all three of them on theirs.

It’s funny because 50 Cent used Banks as his #1 hype man until Banks started making solo projects. 50 Cent used Yayo as his hype man for concerts as Banks was became too popular. Tony Yayo is like greatest hype man ever and many wouldn’t argue that.

@@dragonknightofamiraka3636 thats false Yayo been 50's hype man since 98 Banks wasn't around that time he comes in the picture after 50 got shot 50 told Smurf, ice, flip and Yayo to form G Unit and thats when Yayo brings Banks over to 50 he still was a minor after 50's succes with GRODT Yayo starts to have some issues with his documents and Yayo's album would be next after 50's but he gets locked up so now he use Banks as his hype man to build his image up and his Album came next after the group album Beg For Mercy and then Buck's so when Yayo comes home his album gets released but didn't do the numbers because 50's huge buzz starts to decline and they started to have beef with Game in 05

@@infmiiishook7187 Some of your info is correct. But 50, Yayo & Banks grew up together. 50 used to hustle with Banks' dad sometimes. 50 was born July 6, 1975. Yayo was born March 31, 1978. Banks was born April 30, 1982. And Young Buck was born March 15, 1981 (which Buck will be mentioned again later). 50 knew Banks used to rap when Banks was 13 and throughout when Banks was still in high school (Banks dropped out at 16). All of G-Unit (the known prominent members) dropped out of high school (50, Yayo, Banks, Buck, Game). Banks would rap at the barber shop and throughout the hood and would battle rap other hot battle rappers in the hood (similar to 8 Mile style battle rap). In '98 when 50's music began to take off, 50 and Yayo would go on to tour with the Ruff Ryders, Nas, Cash Money and a few others. In '98 & '99, Banks was still a minor, so 50 and Yayo told Banks to hold it down in the hood and work on perfecting his craft until they came back from touring. That's how Banks got even better with his bars and punchlines. Banks been there. But G-Unit as a group and gang officially started in late 2000. The night before 9/11, Banks was shot outside of a night club in New York. But I digress. Throughout 2001 & early 2002, 50, Yayo, Banks & Sha Money XL (their producer) would get busy with working on music together and putting out their G-Unit mixtapes with DJ Whoo Kid as their DJ. Their was an unofficial G-Unit member named Scarlet that rolled with G-Unit back in 2002 (seen in the "Wanksta" music video in the red G-Unit pants), but for whatever unknown reason it never worked out and she was never heard from again. Their G-Unit mixtapes would became very hot and gained the attention of quite a few record labels. Diddy was even interested and during that time 50 would ghost write for Diddy among other artist, like J. Lo/Jennifer Lopez and others. However Bad Boy didn't work out. But Eminem was really into what 50 was putting out and managed to get in touch with 50, thus leading to 50, Yayo, Banks & Sha Money flying out to L.A. to meet with Em & Dre and signing with Em & Dre in June of 2002. Ironically, 50 & Em had met each other way back in late '98/early '99, when Em's career began taking off. Throughout summer of 2002, G-Unit would begin collaborating with Juvenile and his U.T.P. crew and that's how they met Young Buck. They met Game in later 2002, but I digress. You know the rest of how that goes. Fast forward to the official release of 50's "Get Rich or Die Tryin" album on February 6, 2003, Banks was actually 20 years old at the time and turned 21 years old on April 30, 2003. He was not a minor.
