LLNY - Love Live New York
With Anime Expo 2019 drawing close, I've finally decided to upload my senior project that I made while in university. LLNY is a video project that combines anime with live action. This has been a medium that I've always admired and have been wanting to try out. I learned that rotoscoping is a lot of work but it can be really rewarding to see the result in the end. Feel free to share this video around any anime communities, as I will try to make similar hybrid dimension videos like these in the future!
All footage was taken on an iPhone XR and edited with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

HI all! Thank you so much for getting this video to 30K views AND 1K likes! I never would have thought a college passion project would become viral 5 years later and get shared around the world this much, it really means a lot to see so many of you enjoy this type of stuff. Anime unites us all together!
made me remember of those american 90s films where cartoons where in the real world. This is amazing
why is it only now that youtube recommends me this gem?? this vid is amazing!!!!

Spider-Man helping out Honoka would actually be kinda cute though. In fact, just any of Muse in Marvel's NY lol.

no it's Supaidaman!
If Honoka and the gang actually exist in real life like in this video I just want to give all 9 of 'em a big hug, and tell them how much I love them, how much they have saved me from giving up in this world, and how much I miss them every day. I'd definitely cry of happiness if I were to met them. ;) Thanks for this video. This is amazing, and much more than that.
Imagine you're just walking around in New York and then you see a group of anime girls irl 💀Anyway, this is great! I'm really surprised it doesn't have more views.
This is amazing! I’m so surprised this isn’t more popular

And then Honoka was never heard from again.
Wow! Did you purposely film the places to make the animation fit into the scene?

There is a serious error here, in (Love Live) men do not appear, but in this video they do.😱 Like 😌👍
That would be hilarious if the put the actual anime girls in a live action thing.
1:48 was that the future Honoka?
Wow, could you please tell me the restaurant name in 0:10 ? Thanks!

@@calv011 Thanks!!
hmmm, i wonder how honoka would have gotten on the wrong train considering there was a chance that she would have had to go up to street level and go down again

At 14 Street - Union Square (the station they got on at) the uptown/downtown stairs are both past the turnstiles. Honoka simply went down the left staircase (since she ended up traveling uptown to Times Square - 42 Street) while the rest went to the right staircase and boarded the downtown train.
