Really enjoyed this video. I can remember the Pier Pavilion being there and if I recall correctly there was a ride on old vintage looking cars that took you under on a "world tour" layout of different countries. Also further down pier an artist who did caricatures. Up Happy Valley we would sit on Aberdeen Hill and watch Alex Munroe show at outdoor theatre. Happy memories. Thank you

Just a few memories from this video. Where you mentioned Winston Churchill being at that door to the Grand was where we went in to watch some professional wrestling contests, Kendo Nagasaki being the main attraction. The first kiosk on the right at the start of the pier proper used to sell boxes of various types of fudge etc and we’d always stop there (with my mum and dad), coconut ice being my dads favourite, I remember. I remember that being the fishing bait shop too and the kiosk in the middle of the pier selling first day covers. I’ve still got a large black and white photo of the cast of the Alex Munro Show with most, if not all, of their signatures on it from the late 1960s. Great video as usual thanks.

At 1 second, Mr. Herring Gull wonders why you're filming him. I loved the simulator (rollercoaster footage) in front of the Grand Hotel. The bit of the Great Orme that sticks out as 18.10 we call the crocodile due its shape.

Hiya Sully , Didn't make this weekend .. Granddaughters gymkhana ( sounds like we have money eh) .... will be up sometime before Easter though. I'll make sure to leave you a Guinness behind the bar. Nice to see you over 200 ..... 2000 here we come. Thanks for getting out.
