Llanbedrog is a village and community on the Llŷn peninsula of Gwynedd in Wales. It is situated on the south side of the peninsula on the A499 between Pwllheli and Abersoch. Formerly in the county of Caernarfonshire, it had a population of 1,020 in 2001, reducing slightly to 1,002 at the 2011 Census
A popular destination today for those that fancy time on the beach, with it being accessible and family friendly with expanses of sand and shallow water. There have always been beach huts at Llanbedrog (originally tents). National Trust beach huts are available to rent between April and September and can be rented at seasonal, weekly and daily rates. Family fun adventure packs can be picked up at the car park; they contain a variety of interesting activities- bug hunting, games, leaf trails and more.
