LL Cool J Remembers Kim Porter, Sends Love to Diddy

“Extra’s” Tanika Ray was with LL Cool J and his wife Simone as they celebrated the launch of her Legacy for Men by Simone I. Smith jewelry collection in Century City on Saturday. LL spoke out following the tragic, untimely death of Kim Porter, who was found dead Thursday.
Both LL and Simone are longtime friends of Kim and her ex, Diddy. The actor and rapper had a heartfelt message for Diddy and his children, saying, "I wish you all the best. I wish you love and happiness and joy. Stay encouraged. There is nothing I can say to you guys that will heal the void, or fill the void, but I just want to send you my love."

I agree. They look like brother and sister. I love their relationship. My hat off to Simone. Her husband is admired by a lot of women but she is the queen and who he comes home to at the end of the day.

Not sure I understand your comment on their marriage or chemistry. This man has been with this woman since high school and had given him four children. They have had plenty of opportunities to leave each other but have stayed together. # BETOGETHERALWAYS

Theresa Toomer I'm not sure you read her comment correctly! She said nothing about how long they been together. Obviously they've been married since 1995/6 but that has nothing to do with the way she looks and reacts in interviews when she's asked a question when he's with her! I've seen her in interviews by herself and she's so comfortable and free but when she's with him she seems timid and unsure of how to answer the question like for example she looked at him before she said "I went to school for nursing" so yes congrats to them for a long term marriage or whatever they have but you can tell the chemistry is a bit off! He literally took over the interview when the host asked Simone a question. It just seems awkward!!

I never said she hasn't been through a lot or that she's not confident! But I've seen interviews with her by herself and Interviews with them together and there's a major difference! He's always interrupting and taking over. He should've let her talk more especially when asked about goals outside from being his wife. She says "I went to nursing school" ( I'm guessing before they got married because he was already LL cool j when she met him as a teenager) but she then looks at him before he interrupted and said "her goal was to hang out with me" "that's what she thought she was gon do" like her goals where to be with him and not have other goals for herself! To me that's discrediting her intelligence. So again yes she's confident and has been through a lot and has survived cancer like many other women I know but that has nothing to with how she reacts in this interview like most with him. So yes you can look and see what you want to see but I'm looking at for how it really is. God Bless.
