Congratulations. Twenty years ago I was a member of San Diego Unified's Race/Human Relations in-service team which went around to schools educating them related to new policies prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation We were ill received on many campus, jeered at food services and transportation inservices, and frequently told to go away when we would advocate for individual students exercising their rights. I'm so proud that the young people at La Jolla High School, and many other schools in the District and in the County have taken up the banner and the call. We "hear the people sing."

Wow, this is nice. Our school had a GSA club but only one kid joined and they had to end it.

I want to start a gsa club in my school and my teacher said she will support and help me make one but I would have to find people who would aucatlly want to to join. So far I only know 3 of my friends that would aucatlly want to go. Also 5 of them said sure but I doubt they will come. They never commit I only have 2 months to make a choice
