Only because you mentioned in your batrep that he did when fighting the block where the Tyrant was in...but Carnosaur does not do D3 wounds against monstrous infantry or cavalry...and yeah fleeing with the Saurus block was just mind boggling:)

I may have misspoke there, but the carnasaur wasn't doing D3 wounds to the tyrant. The tyrant just wasn't that defensive and the carnasaur being frenzied and AP -3 + the oldblood ignoring all armour and ward saves meant that I had enough damage to just kill him without much trouble.

Slann should have static combat res of 2, it's a bsb and has close order. Should have been a drawn combat unless the stonehorn had something else for combat res I missed

@matthewjames2846 the Slann is a Monster now with 5 wounds, so he should meet the criteria for the close order bonus on his own. I just failed to count it.

Having watched two Batreps now i guess your thoughts are the Slann isnt worth it. The blowpipes arent as good as Javelins, the carnosaur is ace.

I'd say the Slann is fine, maybe go for a different lore/loadout. I've been looking at high magic and having the spell that makes him ethereal and gives him reserve move seems really good. I'd say he's definitely worth it for anyone but me lol. Bang on for the other 2 thoughts!

Why were you fleeing with the saurus? Makes no sense

@simoneengelleitner947 no worries mate. I don't play this game that often so just looking at a big charge of OK mournfang + ironguts seemed like a bad take. For next time I will definitely remember that my units will die, and that is what they're there for 😄.

my brother in christ do not flee with the saurus!!!! the carno rocks and the slann is mid, you could honestly drop the slann and just take a second carno and a bunch priest or two with dispel scrolls edit: damn what a slaughter, on both sides!

Yeah, 2x Carnasaur is something I for sure want to try for sure. The skink priest and old blood are competing for the same slot. All the casualties are part of what made that game so fun!
