Whoa, she looks as young and sounds as good as she did in Cabaret in this and that was filmed 20 years prior.

Liza had bad luck with her films. "Cabaret" was great and still is. Liza was the biggest movie star for about five minutes at that time. She was going with Desi Arnaz Jr., and Lucy browbeat Liza into changing managers. She chose Mickey Rudin (who stole money from Marilyn Monroe's estate) and eventually from Lucy and Sinatra. Rudin knew nothing about packaging films and kept Liza on the road. Liza dropped Stevie Phillips, her agent and manager, which was a crucial mistake. No one cared to select film roles suited to Liza's gifts and unique quirkiness. Liza was cast in run-of-the-mill leading lady roles, and the films misfired and bombed! She was wonderful in "Arthur",, But " Arthur 2" stank and so did "Rent a Cop". Such a waste because Liza is such a talented actress. She really belonged in films. Liza should have had a much bigger film career. So should Diana Ross. Diana got cheated. Diana had real talent as an actress. Her portrayal of a schizophrenic woman in "Out of Darkness," a TV film, was stunning. It is too bad that Diana was never able to get a film or mini-series on the life of Josephine Baker off the launching pad. She tried for years.
