Finally drove a model s for the first time yesterday. It was an older 2017 model. But the leather felt like it was wading pretty bad, I didn’t quite like the screen being so large, but I can get use to it. Finally, I tested the 90d and it RIPS ! So much fun when you want it. The warranty is about to expire so I don’t think I’ll be going with it. But wow was it cool!

Nice video. Great shots. I just ordered a Long Range "Raven" in the same color with white interior. Very excited to receive it!

Great review. FYI there’s a small little compartment in between the armrest and the large adjustable cup holders is where you’ll place your phone.

What a Beautiful video

Found one @ 30k a 2017 MS100D. Picking it up tomorrow. Coming from a 3L 2012 Touareg TDI, so I am not worried about upgraded MCU chips (I have none! can only go up), but $2250 is not a bad upgrade at the Tesla service center near me (If i want to stream or whatever). Felt like a fighter pilot whipping this up and down the highway....goodby VW oil changes, transmission, and differential service....(still have an apocalypse 2014 A6 TDI that will now be my weekend toy).

+Ash Davies on Cars That mysterious pocket in the driver's door card is where I keep my garage door remote. In the US a Tesla car will open a garage door for you but it has never worked in Australia (unless there has been a recent change that I am unaware of). Not my original idea but I do endorse it.

Also, the removable silver dividers in the center console are curved. Position two of them with their curves opposing each other and you have whatever size cup-holder you like, thus giving you three cupholders. The lightning charger allows you to position your iphone at a nice near-vertical angle within the cubby. Siri works well through the car's sound system. The main drawback of this arrangement is that if you put your phone in a protective case, even a thin one, it will not snap onto the charger.

I took over a 2018 model S 100 D lease and I am so glad I only have to drive it for a year. Jittery ride even with air suspension ,auto pilot on other then highway is poor at best. Doesn't even have free charging anymore. Will not even buy at end of lease at discount -not convinced at value at all...
