The ALS Association did nothing for my father except expect us to drive from Louisville to Lexington for them to look at him. He was a veteran and the VA didn’t do much either. My sister, our mother and I did around the clock care for him for over 2 years. I could remove his trachea tube, clean it and have it back in before he drew another breath. He had the oxygen breathing machine, catheter, feeding tube. When he passed after being flat on his back for over two years, he had a tiny sore behind right ear. No bed sores any where else.

It can be. Painful cramps and muscle aches. Later on in the disease when the muscle has died the bone isnt protected causing more pain when sitting or lying down. The neurone death itself isnt considered painful but the consequences are.

No one reverses ALS- are you the 1? No. Are you joking or trying to shamelessly sell something? Not cool. If you are sick, I hope you are doing better...but don't make stuff up.

ALS is progressive, it cannot be stopped only slowed.
