Living Tri Hita Karana Part II : Human Society

Bali represents one of the few intact indigenous cultures where the ancient cosmology is actually lived in everyday life. It is an immensely complex culture but can be approached in a concise way through initially understanding the 3 basic principles that form its core: Tri Hita Karana. This talk is part 2 of a 3 part series on the cosmology of harmony in Bali. Tjok Gde Kerthyasa at Usada Bali will explore the 2nd principle: the relationship that exists between humans. In this talk he will discuss the traditional foundations of Balinese cultural organization combined with his knowledge of emotional impacts of harmony and disharmony from a therapeutic point of view and how cultural traumas have contributed to the state of the planet we are now experiencing. Through recognition of this we will be in a position to make the collective step to fulfilling the 2nd cause of harmony on this planet.
