I have never heard a bad album by the living strings. I have over 20 of their albums. Their albums were always quality at a budget price. Over all, their albums were always as good and sometimes better than the higher priced RCA Victor albums. Beautiful, lust sound always. I also have some Living Guitars, Living Marimbas, Living Jazz, Living Voices... All beautiful albums!

Strings were all the rage in the late '50's and early '60's. Witness the lush string arrangements on Nat King Cole's records. Some may think this music is dated, but I think it's still beautiful. If this be elevator music, I'm taking a ride to the top floor.

The day this becomes unbeautiful is the day we forget the definition of beauty. I don't care what today perceives as modern, it is an insult at the highest level to say that something is "still good" or "ahead of it's time." like today is any kind of inspiration on good music. The glory days of talent are well past so last I checked, I'll be referencing the 20th century on terms of beauty.
