Key Scripture:
Ephesians 5:15-21
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time,
because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord
is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord
with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.”
Summary:
Too many of us, even as Christians are living our lives on empty. We have even rested at times
on the laurels of someone else’s prayer life. We are living in days where we cannot afford to be
living on empty and not be prayed up and ready. It is time to fill up and get full on the things we
need and the things of God. These scriptures in Ephesians remind us to be careful of how we
are living in such wicked days. It is time to live with the anticipation that Jesus is coming soon!
It is time to LIVE READY!
