Not having parents dependent on them, having a home already before buying another, not having siblings to take care of (financially), being smart/guided enough to study hard when it was the right time (JEE), having a partner which loves you and also support you in all terms ; These guys hit a jackpot in a lot of key areas for a good life.

They did not do btech from IIT Bombay. They did their mtech from IIT bombay. Gate is relatively easier than jee, but nevertheless, they have really achieved very well financially so kudos to both of them.
To all aspiring millionaires, you do not need to be software engineer from IIT to earn 50l PA, but it certainly helps. I am a 2nd grade B Com grad from Kolkata and I earn almost 60l PA. And my expenses are around 60k PM. I save around 90% of my salary without even trying. Keep pushing and try to develop yourselves and your skills, studying will only take you thus far. Once you start working no one cares where you studies or how much you secured in your grad. But the struggle is real so keep going and push the boundaries. Be the best at what you do and DO NOT WASTE TIME.

As much as it sounds glamorous, it's important to maintain a fair amount of balance so they don't get caught with pretentious lifestyle. One down fall as we witness these days with the layoffs can upset this. The key is to build a safety net (healthy corpus) while continuing to enjoy the guilty pleasures. Totally agree bro. Most people don't realize the reality of IT sector. I want add here that these high earners want to retire soon. The question is why?why would you wanna leave such a high paying job. Because IT offers good money but very poor social life. It's a hard reality

@@terrybatman assuming they only save 30% of what they earn for 20 years with an conservative 5% increase in earnings per annum for 20 years This money invested consistently for 20 years at a bare minimum 9.5% pa (assuming even investment increases by 5% every year in line with the investment) This leads to a corpus of 36Cr and they wouldn't be even 50 year old by then Let compounding kick in when thye would experience massive gains Now as to why 30% savings as they already fall into high income bracket, their basic needs are already taken of We haven't considered any huge windfall gains which would have the opportunity of earning considering they have such huge amounts and can risk a certain portion of it early in life

@@terrybatman yes considering inflation, inr 50 Cr would not fetch that great a value after 20 years what would it fetch today, but that being said we have only assumed a minor 5% increase in pay pa. Whereas while factoring inflation, we might consider 6% pa. to be bare minimum consdering India is a growing economy

We too make handsome earnings but the problem is expenses too get upgraded accordingly...everyone get trapped in this cycle...there was a time we took loan for Rs.5 lakh Car but now we can buy a car worth 27 Lakh in single direct payment...

For 1.25 crore package, Still needs to Fix your finance?
So many things put so wrongly, ESOP are highly risky specially in Indian startup, not every ESOP will convert to profitable cashflow. ESOP from foreign entity if they don't have Indian entity, are way more riskier, if you don't have personal rapport with the founder, they don't even have personal health insurance, Please get a personal Health insurance, you have tax rebate of 25k+25k for same. This comes from a software engineer with 1.7Cr at 26 years back in 2020, my expense is max 25K (this is what I transfer from my Salary account to another) which includes everything I could pay, grocery, utilities, random UPI txns for the family. I do spend on expensive electronics once in a while, but those are rare in a year, I since moved to a startup for a fraction of compensation for personal reasons.

Dude itna package me agar instant gratification dur kiya jaye toh u can invest 5 lakh per month in sip for 10 yrs and u can bcm free
So relatable 😭
This couple is truly remarkable and serves as an inspiration to many. One noteworthy aspect is that Prashanth likely holds a significant amount of equity in this startup, which could potentially lead to a substantial financial upside, enabling them to purchase a house for their parents. However, it's worth considering the concern that their extraordinarily high salaries might eventually reach a point of stagnation unless they progress to executive positions (such as CXO roles). It is crucial for them to plan accordingly and anticipate potential challenges in their career growth.
