Is the land manicured by mowing the grass? Or is the grass very slow growing? It's a beautiful piece of property. What type of business was the owner in that required the basement to be all cut up like that? What were those rooms used for? When he moves, will he remove all rugs and leave the house empty of furnishings? You did not explain that glass cabinet in the house, livingroom area. Is that a solarium/greenhouse? Was the house made toxic by anything he was doing in the house? The house is huge!

Brad, I just want to say that I so enjoy your videos, the quality of the filming, the comments, the background birds chirping on the aerials etc. I one day in the near future hope to acquire one of these properties and you folks will be the first on my list. But until then your videos bring such a calming sense of peace and temporary contentment to my soul. Thank you so much for that.

I'm waiting for the off the grid log house....is it on turkey gizzard road, too. Got a buddy, huh? Cabin looks like Walnut Grove School 😮. All that's missing is a half moon she'd, outback. Miss Wilder is hard pressed to find it. Awesome farm, I hope they don't make a subdivision out of that Glorious land. Where O where is ole Dan Tucker, who washed his hair in a frying pan. Is this a hang glider for two? Lovely stretch of hills for a Chateau de Gizzarde.

Best thing about this place is the land, they desperately need a yard sale, lol. Kinda weird the selling points of the house couldn't be seen...like fireplace, eat in kitchen seating. Loads of ugly wallpaper, lots of work to remove that.

The house and land are absolutely gorgeous but that house is just waaaay too much "house" for two 'seniors'. Lol. (Although I LOVED all the windows, the kitchen pantry, & that "Half 'n Half room"...laundry/bathrm). 💖💖💖 The fields could be rented out to locals looking for more land to plant on without having to buy. Or just ride your horse for hours! 😄💖 But for 2 older people who don't want to climb stairs every time they turn around, that small log cabin would be great to finish! (BTW, what's the square footage of that off-the-grid cabin?) Just change out the ladder for a short staircase, and live there while renting out the big house! 😄 And, oh yeah, I'd buy the whole package: lock, stock, and barrel! 💖😉

Hi Abraham Tov, the land adds privacy, control over who and what is built close to you and INCOME! That timber is worth a bunch of money - and gets more valuable every year. The owner just selectively cut $50,000 worth of timber off of it --- and it will be ready for another cut every 12 yrs - same size. Beautiful Brad but way much more than I am looking for, that is why I say telling the price and payment in the video's would save buyers and you a multitude of time. Thanks though, and I think I found my home in Harrodsburg, my heart tugs for 2 story, looks great outside would love to see some pictures and over 3000 sq feet inside, this I feel is my home if it is livable now, From the moment I saw it I felt it was my home, in 1 month it went down to a 4th of original list price. My heart says this is home for me if it is livable inside. Later Brad, be seeing you.

@carltom2818 - you know how car prices go up every single year? yup, land as well. But the car depreciates - the land goes up. I don't remember what this sold for, but it was at least half of what its worth today. Bottomline - buy it and it will grow up in value. then you'll be rich - and you've had a place to live and love all that time.

Great video Brad but it’s only as good as the property you are filming. With the recent rain you speak of everything looks pretty brown and crunches whenever you walk. I find this quite concerning. I understand that it’s owners are moving out soon however, it’s in such a mess the entire building looks like it’s ill equipped to cope with belongings we all accumulate. Maybe filling a barn with the contents would be a good idea. I guess it’s just not my cup of tea as I would start over from the beginning to the end. The silo is not a pleasant view unless it’s a working farm and, I see little evidence of this. It’s a real hotchpotch and needs some psychiatric help 😉🥂

@@BradSimmons I have learned an important aspect. I would really like to be on KU electric if possible, we pay way too much and barely run the heat pump ac in winter, last mo rates went up again, maybe heat for 2 weeks, we are all on computers but that does not draw much, Husband watches tv in his room, I rarey turn mine on and doubt son does either. He runs nothing in his room but a desk lamp and his laptop and our elec last mo was $300 +, that is insane, we have been here 11 yrs now, started out around $150 to $175 or so, now nearly double and for what we use it is rediculous. Frank runs the dishwasher most everyday cause he won't wash the coffee cups and silverware. That American craftsman hose with natural wood is my favorite old home I have seen, those mirror tiles were called gold vein in the mid 60's, they came like those and also in black gold vein. So now you know what those are and from when, your too young to remember but I have a wealth f info at almost 75.
