When you said people have to pay for mid-tier lunch, get student loans, work hard and still struggle for rent, I really really thought you were talking about America for a sec. I didn't know Canada had similar problems to us.

I lived in Canada 25 years, and everything you said about that it's true😄, now I live in Frrance with my husband (who is a canadian from Québec)and kids we plan to moove to Sweden. I think that we will have a higher quality of life. Thanks for the informations.

So basically canada is the "my country has a very good culture and people are friendly" type of country while sweden is the "my country excells in things that actually matters"

Most kids think it’s cool to say that the Swedish school food sucks, but honestly once you get older or leave school you realize that it actually was great and will miss it. My favorite was the fried fish, potatoes and creamy dill sauce that all the schools seem to have 😅

Yeah, but that student loan debt in Sweden is only optional to cover your living expenses if you don’t want to work part time - not fund your education which makes the debt MUCH lower in Sweden. You also get paid around 500$ per month to study in Sweden at university for up to 6 years with no strings attached. Also the student loans in Sweden have insanely low interest rates and managed by a government agency - so you barely need to pay any interest and there is no rush to pay it back until you’ve gotten a job, then they will negotiate a quite beneficial plan for you to pay it back slowly.

Yeah but literally every place in Sweden is a kebab/falafel place. You can’t go two streets in Malmö without seeing a kebab shop. Not even kidding, go onto google earth and just go on street view in Malmö, kebab and falafel everywhere. Fyi, a lot of places sell pizza as well and it’ll say that it’s a pizza place, but 9 times out of 10 they’ll still sell kebab, especially since the most popular pizza in Sweden is literally kebab pizza, a pizza with kebab on it.

In Sweden you get welfare benefits when unemployed, but according to the law you must actively search for a job - and if they job agency gives you a job offer, you are not allowed to refuse it because you will lose your benefits if you do

@@MrFelixify I’ve been to these Nordic countries Sweden Denmark and Norway one of my best friends was born there to call Sweden one of the least racist countries might be the funnest thing I’ve ever read. The draw back to these countries is how they treat immigrants that move to their country good luck finding a group to hang out with or a good career. If it’s so great why aren’t way more people trying to move to those countries? Because they know the problems outsiders face

The difference between Sweden and Canda is that in Sweden your swedish but in Canda your an immigrant. 😇
