Or dirty cops. Corrupt DA Sumrow, and how farmers got pushed off their lands and forced to sell in the early 2000's. My family , and friends of the family who experienced this going into 2008 during the housing crisis and recession losing to commercial Zoning when we were residential for a long time. Same for Fate, Tx too. Price of progress as they say. The freemasons moved in and this is what you see but don't see the corruption it took to get it here. Adding insult to injury the city was only valueing people's property at escrow value and those who didn't sell promptly were dinged with citations over property "eyesores" for not selling, to the point they ended up selling. people who lived here for generations and had second and third generations grow up here. I can go on but there's really no point. "They" won. Those who sold quickly were glad to sell because they just wanted to leave. And some got lucky with a good investor, the rest didn't.

Don't let the big houses and beautiful views fool you, some of the absolute WORST people you will ever encounter flock to this city. They show up at superchurch and pretend to be good for an hour a week, then go back to who they truly are. They gossip about anyone and everyone, most are on their second+ marriage and infidelity is commonplace. Understand that people are fake, trust nobody, and you will thrive there. Whatever friends you had before you crossed that nasty lake, keep them. They were your real ones.

@@skyking0475 Not really. I've lived in different parts of America and the world and that particular community is quite unique, and totally not in a good way. Imaging taking the very worst people from a show like "Desperate Housewives", the Kardashians, add some horrible "christian" families that curse, swear and belittle others the second they leave church, and scatter them across a few towns (Rockwall, Heath, Fate). Definitely not "every city".

Wow, who hurt you? That is not my experience at all! We moved here in 2020 and absolutely love it.

The ladies in this video seem nice and are doing a good job of selling a location, props to them...But save yourself the time and trouble and don't move to Rockwall. Drugs run wild with the teens...Parents with a lot of money buy their kids and their friends alcohol and drugs. Racism is awful here. do not move here especially if you have kids

My large, biracial family loves Rockwall! Oddly, we've experienced far less racism here than in S Florida. My children are homeschooled, so, I can't speak about the drug issue, but, sadly, it probably is true in the affluent areas of Rockwall county. It is an amazing place to live!
