Living in NYC’s Smallest Box-Apartment…
This apartment seems small, but sometimes thats the price that has to be paid if NYC is where you want to live! Would you travel to Manhattan with a suitcase and rent this? Its probably the most affordable place in town, and just to make sure we compare it to a few others nearby.

The rents have gone insane, with all the commercial real estate empty the city is in for a serious correction. Bedrooms are so tiny for the amount of money, who has a bedroom that's only 8 ft. wide, crazy.

Ooo. You would have to be nice to your roommates so they don't all move out at once and leave you with the lease.
Even tho the last apartment's kitchen was so small I liked everything else about it the best. The arches & the room sizes were phenomenal! Hope Kanami & baby are doing well & back home & that Violet is liking her role as big sister
Love your videos brother
Cash’s upcoming videos will feature a very sleepy Dad! 😅 Congrats on baby Eliza! ❤🍼
Congrats on the safe arrival of your daughter! Fun apartments today.
The last apartment was my favorite. It seemed to be more spacious then the other apartments. It also seems to be the apartment that feels more like a mini home. I'm not big on the rent, but hey, it's New York City.
Really liked that last apt, with the raised area and all the windows. It's got some character and I didn't think the rent was bad either, but maybe because we're just getting used to hearing those numbers and the shock has subsided....lol.

A nice 1BR place for $3K. But $4300?? A big no! Besides banks & brokerages, NYC employers don't pay enough to justify such rents.

I completely blows my mind the amount for apartments in New York. For the same price and even cheaper you could get a whole house, garage and yard here in Denver Metro area.

Loved that last apartment. You had me with the arches in the foyer!
If four people share an apartment, the odds are very good that one of them is an ax murderer. NYC is far too expensive, that's why I plan to retire to Buenos Aires in June '24. I'm currently living and working in Nassau Bahamas and rent a three-bedroom townhouse with a private swimming pool for $2500/month. BTW, my townhouse has an in-unit washer, dryer, dishwasher AND a sink sprayer.

CHARLES 🎉
Good morning Cash and Kanami. Cash I hope you prerecorded a lot of places because it's family time. Congratulations 🎉 again Jordon Family.
i would love to eat keto like Charles! I you watch his videos, or even the older ones here, you see how well it is working. He looks great!!! Every time he is in your video, he makes it better. I also love the yellow tile- It is a happy color. You would instantly have a great day if you get ready for your day in there.
That second to last one was good. Thanks to the layout you could get a wee two person table n chairs just out side the kitchen!
The apartments with no sun light should come with vitamin D no time to be depressed hustling to make that rent. I knew we we’re waiting for Charles 😊
I would have fun in the last one. Roomy. I'd make a breakfast nook by the kitchen. Library, music, desk setup in the den. The others were good. This one spoke to me. Lovely family!😉
Love the last one. In-between pre and post war. Probably built in the mid to late 40's. Like the basket weave tile floor in the bathroom. Charles is king of the eastside.
Happy Fatherhood and congratulations to your wife.. to mom.. xo! It's a lovely thing to see your wee family grow.. ^_^ No to the obnoxiously priced housing! XD
Congrats on your all female household and that beautiful new addition. You make New York interesting in a unique way. Here's a toast to your success and happiness!
I like Apt. G for $4300 and the studio with that "L" shaped foyer/entryway

congratulations guys, great news glad everything went well
Yes to Keto with Charles!
My wife and I love your videos. From the looks of things, it looks like we will not be returning to New York anytime soon. Would it be at all possible to show an apartment that's affordable and would fit a family of four. Tbh, most of the apartments you show are lovely for a single person or roommates, but are way overpriced. I think nyc needs to get it's shit together or everyone will leave.
"This one comes with a shirt that you can wear to your job on Wall Street!" IDK why, but I really got a good laugh out of that. I needed a laugh today, so thank you.
CJ I want to congratulate you and your beautiful wife on the addition to your family your video are so nice for the world
Congratulations 🎉👏 Dad, Mom and Violet welcoming beautiful Eliza, I'm so glad everyone is healthy. My only concern was I was worried 😫 you were going to start opening doors and pushing buttons in the room you and your wife were waiting in before the baby arrived. I could see you were getting antsy to check out the buttons and pull on drawer handles. You did good Cash 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Happy Monday Cash…. And again congratulations on the new baby❤
The reason the full-size stacked washer and dryer opened that way is because they’re supposed to when they are side by side on the floor. The full sized washers always seem to always open to to the left and dryers open to the right….like mirror images of each other. Now the small-size washers and dryers that are historically meant to be stacked may always both open the same way…usually to the right I think. I did have an apartment once with those small stackables and both opened that way. Anyway, that’s my thinking.
Congratulations on the new little lady..blessings rain down on your family 😍
I didn't have claustrophobia until I started watching this channel. Last apartment was best.
$4500 a month...comes with a free ac unit...Love It.
CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby Mr Cash. The first one is Over 92,000 dollars a year with No Elevator. This would cause me to leave NY City --Not Stay.
That “box” apartment was actually really nice! The kitchen was small, but it had a full size stove and fridge. And it had a bedroom and a living room which is awesome, plus both were really nice rooms.
Congrats on your new bundle of joy! Love your videos. You've taught me more about New York in the past couple of years than I knew in the 57 before that!
The last apartment was a real winner. Loved the dining area, the bathroom and the spacious rooms and extra closets! That foyer would do great as a home office and although the kitchen was tiny, it'd be workable if you 1. put a china/silverware cabinet in the main room 2. staged a small coffee/booze cart just to the right of the door into the kitchen itself and 3. used the dining table to do your chopping and prepping, or maybe squeezed a small rolling cart by the window/sink. Getting a custom cutting board to fit over the sink might work too. The rest of the apartment was so roomy and comfortable that the kitchen issues weren't overly important. That one place with fuses, though! WTH?! I didn't know that was even still legal. Knob and tube, anyone? Crazy...
The four-bedroom seems pretty well set up for a four-person share. Paying $3,300 for a small one-bedroom walkup strikes me as excessive. The $4,500 two-bedroom had a reasonable amount of space although the kitchen was a bit cozy. The slanted bar in the bathroom is for handicapped/elderly assist when using the toilet. Charles' $3,400 one-bedroom was dated and the kitchen was cramped, but the living area and bedroom were quite spacious. It was in an elevator building with laundry. The studio for $2,800 was also reasonably spacious. The last one had lots of room, and it was in a building with a big laundry room and a gym, though $4,300 for one bedroom isn't cheap.

What you're calling an assistive device for handicap or elderly is definitely NOT 1. That is just a regular towel bar. It would never pass inspection for any other use

@@Bobrogers99 if you live in a private house or regular apartment put whatever you like. But if you're in senior housing or a disability unit that will definitely not pass inspection here

Hey Cash. Congratulations again on the new edition. Hope she's doing well both your wife and baby. You're a good father and husband so in the event of post partum depression you'll be able to deal with it. You have mad skills as we've seen. I saw that roach in that cabinet. Lol Interesting choices this time. Shocked at the $2800; in a good way!
Welcome to our world Eliza...may you have many blessed year's...❤️🤗
5A is okay but I don't like the window a/c unit...the one overlooking 3rd avenue isn't real plush and it doesn't have laundry but it's spacious with good storage and I"m in love with the price! I think a murphy bed would be great in the studio apartment! but omgosh I loved that last one apartment G♥
Me watching these apartments I can’t afford: “That price is not too bad….”

Lol...back at it! Was cool to see your family grow! Don't forget to get enough rest.
Great apartments but why do they all look like halfway houses from Shawshank Redemption?
Seeing the inside some of the crappy and inhabitable apartments in NYC featured on your channel, makes my skin crawl or in some cases nails on a chalk board. Keep up the great work!
Hi Cash and to your friends that is a very cozy and nice small box apartment. It’s been raining in SoCal. Stay well and safe 👍
Congrats on the new baby ❤
Love the last one except for the tiny kitchen, but. I could work wit it
Congratulations on baby # 2
The last two were my favorites of the day, Charles with the Clutch! Also cash favorites like medicine CAB-IN-ET and our good friend, chipotle with the surprise cameo
That last apartment is nice!
The last was the best. The dining area was unique, and I loved the arches. So much better than the plain white boxes with black trim we see in so many newer buildings.
Congratulations on your new baby!
So the back deliver door for that Chipotle is in the laundry room of an apartment building? Seems crazy but whatever works.
The studio and the last place my favs. I’m in love wit studios. This one had awesome potential!! Crazy not to grab it. Great views of streets in some of thes and as long as noise is Nader control they view constantly changes outside! Weather, seasons, colors (If not trees then on people, and in windows of businesses) so not boring!
It’s Rear Window - the Alfred Hitchcock classic 📽🎞
Congratulations on your new arrival Cash!
Congratulations! Hoping mom and baby are doing well. Enjoyed your review of the delivery room, and not saying anything embarrassingly cheesy about a womb with a view because only old fools like me would do that.
$3,450.00 a month? In North Carolina that would get you a 4000 ft.² four to five bedroom house. With an en suite and walk-in closets with every bedroom, and a three car garage, on 5 acres of land!

Man, those NY prices are HIGHWAY ROBBERY! I'm only paying that kind of money for a mortgage! 😩
Cash tell Charles I'm in love with this bathroom!!! I love those old tubs. The unit on the secod floor. Don't love the kitchen as much as the previous one, but this unit is great!
Charles’ trainee sounded so offended that someone was actually cooking. Like, don’t they know that takeout exists?! Lol😂😂😂

That's funny! Who cooks? Nobody I know. In fact, why even have a kitchen? Who cares if it's microscopic? Where did they learn that skill? There are great chefs all over who get paid to do this, etc.

You guys are fun! I love your videos❤🎉😊
Murphy bed is a must have.
Okay the studio apartment is sort of better. The bathroom is awkward. Sink in the middle with no counter space.
This is Gonna b so Cool CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Monday😀n Again Congrats🎉….
I like the old school yellow bathroom.
These prices are ridiculous. No wonder ppl are fleeing nyc
Last one is the greatest by far!! I'll take it!
Big up Mr. Cash congratulations and do your thing much love
Cash, how you manage to blend "I don't know" into one word always makes me chuckle. 😂 You have a way with words.
That last apartment was my favorite... 2nd story on a busy street is my preference...i love people watching...
I will never get over how squished together and weird angled NY apartments are.
The one with the yellow bathroom and the one right after are nice and liveable. The last one with the arched doorways is my favorite. I love the elevated room by the windows. I could live in either for sure.
Great video!
Good day
I think the last apartment was the winner. It seemed more like a home to me. Congratulations on new baby girl, Eliza. I hope your wife is feeling well, and that Violet will love being a big sister!
You're more likely to argue in a yellow room than any other color but the ceramic title is lovely lol
I had my bathroom in the bedroom. I had a full kitchen. My bedroom was big enough that I had my full size bed and full size convertible bed in the bedroom. No common area and that is why they consider it a Studio apartment. I loved it, minus the stair climb. But it is great for a single person with or without a pet. The price was 1500 monthly which was excellent in East Harlem. Great restaurants and bakeries. Whomever is the new tenant, they were gifted a Keurig, Karaoke Machine and an AC.
Congrats on the little one. :)
10:31 I hate fuses! Maybe they will be upgraded to circuit breakers?
You and Charles make a good team 😊
That last apartment is amazing!!
I loved that last one. So much character. But what's up with all the miniature, tiny, claustrophobic kitchens in NYC?! So many people are foodies these days and want to cook. I know that I'd want to expand that kitchen into that little area that has the step up. Buy cabinets and prep stations and put them right there.
From what I understand those toilets have a stronger flush and are less prone to plugging up. But I only know what I’ve heard. 🤔🤷🏼♀️👍
Lol ur sooooo enjoyable to watch!! N funny
