I'm from NJ. I like living here but it comes with its pros and cons, its definitely very expensive here due to its location and high state taxes but you get a little of everything here. Farms, Beaches, Cities, Mountains, Lakes, etc.

@@jesuskwo Yeah man I mean you should definitely be fine working here and making 52k as a single man. Finance should be fine, although in general NJ seems to be one of the more expensive states. It's your own personal choice, some states are cheaper than here. As I said, I'm more conservative so I am a biased about some things in this state. Ive never lived anywhere else so it might seem like I'm being too biased. 1. NJ is very Democrat so it sucks being a conservative/libertarian here. But you can find counties like mine that are more Republican. 2. If you love the ocean, the beaches are absolutely beautiful here plus there is a such a diversity of stuff we could do here. We got the mountains, shore, farms and horses, small cities, rutgers sports, list goes on.. in short I do have a lot of pride and im mostly content with this state.

@Mystical Nova yes they are!!!! They all are delusional though, they believe they are more hospitable and more kinder that people from NJ but they are just as terrible the only difference is, home in NJ your gonna know when somebody doesn't like you, but here they're sneaky about, they grin and laugh in your face whilst stabbing you in your back, it's awful here

  • @Mylayn05

@Molly Rivers they are just like everybody else in any other state, the only difference is they will smile and laugh with you and trash you something terrible behind your back, in Jersey you know when somebody doesn't like you because they tell you to your face the majority of the time at least when I was growing up there. Alabama like to believe they are hospitable and friendly but only to people who are rich and popular and they are very clickish people, if they sense or feel you are not one of them, you suffer big time on a job here😩

I was watching "The Pros and Cons of Living in (fill in a country or city) and since I am a former New Jerseyan (1955-1988) tried to see if there was a pro/con video of NJ and here you are. Very nice video. Thank you for telling people that there is grass in NJ (shocking!) and it is beautiful (shocking). For warmer water do Wildwood in August, it's not Miami but there is a temperature difference between Sandy Hook in the north Jersey shore and Cape May in the south Jersey shore. I live in Florida now due to a job transfer and love. Love is gone though. One of the things keeping me moving back to Jersey is the cold weather and gloomy winters and snow and slush. But I have to admit I am getting sick of South Florida heat. It just drains your energy. I then watched your fitness videos and won't be watching them anymore as I love snack cakes, rice, bread, French fries, fried shrimp, burgers, Fritos, ice cream, etc. etc. (LOL)

Great outlook! True! I do think that for a person looking to retire the cost/taxes would matter since you won't be earning. So that becomes a concern. If not for that, it sounds like a place I would love to move to - I love nature, the seasons, enjoy the cold, and all else you have mentioned. Thanks for the video, I have subscribed. FL gets great spring weather and summer rains everyday, and ppl wanna go there and live on the water but the hurricanes... just enjoy that little trailer while you can. All I know is, there's pros and cons to everywhere. It's subjective, like you said. Good thing about Florida is, if you're from NJ you can prob afford a house there more than a native Floridian can 🙂 oh wait... that's not so good

Einstein had his citizenship sworn in at Newark New jersey. And he moved to Princeton because he was offered a good professor job in mathematics and physics. The reason he didn't do well in school is because he is a radical and the educational system did not make sense to him and it was too elementary. I am 63 years old and I was born in Toms River New Jersey and I lived here my whole life. yes it has lots of pros and cons but it's in the middle of a major megalopolis region and I am looking to move down south where there is more freedom and less laws.
