I am a retired former general contractor and built several homes in Middle Tennessee. If I were building today, I would immediately look to hire a young, hip realtor like you to sell my houses. You are onto something marketing properties to outsiders via KZread and other similar online ventures. I just heard today from another realtor doing this same thing that people from SoCal are buying homes in Nashville and vicinity site unseen for more than the asking price by looking at the home tours online. Three different families, two from Orange County, and one from Santa Barbara have moved into my immediate neighborhood in Hillwood in the last two months. It's the Grapes of Wrath in reverse.

Yeah, all of those BAD Nashville Drivers have arrived here since 1990.... Only 45% of Nashville's population is made up of people whose parents were born here.... Let that sink in...... All of this Progress/Growth is Destroying Tennessee.....

I"m torn between outside Nashville and Greenville, SC. Seems Greenville is a bit smaller, newer, more "Southern" if you will and much much lower cost of living.

Los Angeles is the maxi Nashville. 16% of the Dodgers are former or current Nashvillians--Price, Buehler, Betts, and Muncy. Dave Roberts played minor league ball for Nashville too.
