One thing I liked about dubai. Once my roommate collapsed on the road. He was shifted to hospital by police. when he regained consious he realised his mobile was missing. next day he went to police station and narrated the story. he was told by policemen that they found his mobile on the road before shifting him to hospital. and it was there on the table right before him.

Please, don't misguide people, salaries as compare to India are definitely not 10 times, it could be 1.5 to 2 times, In my office which is software company ,house keeping lady workers are getting 12k to 18k salary for 8 hrs duty, in pune . In Dubai it is between 800 Dirhams to 1200 Dirhams i.e 14k to 22k . This salary is definitely not even 2 times of Indian salary band

Tax-free salary is a big thing which attracts people + safety (though you have to be careful anywhere in the world and Dubai is no exception) + discrimination can be handled with tough negotiations as if you know that you are good in something than do not sell yourself short and BTW I know you refereed 10k to 100K, not 100 times salary than the home country.

@Jawaria saleem You need to correct your knowledge first, Dubai doesn't have that much Oil as you're saying, It's Abu Dhabi that has some oil and Burj Khalifa's actual name was Burj Al Arab but due to lack of funding and then the money was paid by Sheikh of Abu Dhabi which is why it's called Burj Khalifa. Dubai has nothing of it's own, it's zero. It's buildings are built by South Asians, it's shops are run by Filipinos, the companies are managed by western expats and Emiratis literally do nothing and have an attitude problem and worst of all it has racism. Oh Dubai is not begging? Are you sure? Did you do any research first? Dubai is infamous for being known as dumping ground of illegal money as no one asks you where did you get the money from so yes Dubai is begging for that money because it is going through a recession.
