good old ikea providing both delicious food and free parking, glad you redeemed the day with some good food and sightseeing, I still think it is awesome that you met nat and rock and they let you stay in their home like the fine people they are and even gave you some food for the road, such top notch people!

You have over 1k now so should get community tab soon. I always think very underrated as great way for you to post pics etc and for subs to have place they can have chat/blog ongoing. Always think ppl dont use tab enough 🤗😊

It's so beautiful there! Another van/camper life couple I watch recently had a very scary thing happen to them. They were parking for the night in a casino parking lot. Like you, they look for free parking and just treat themselves to a campground every so often. In the evening, a vehicle approached them. She came out to talk to them and the dude asked them if are veterans?? Strange. She said no. Told him just making dinner. He responded making dinner and strippers and took off. Throughout the evening kept going behind their vehicle stopping. They have two E bikes attached to back. Another vehicle showed up with the other dude. They decided to casually pack up inside and leave without them knowing they were getting ready to go. They took off and luckily they didn't follow them and ended up driving 45 minutes away to a well lit and loud trucker stop to stay for the night. They think the veterans question was because assumed if veteran and carrying. They also think were planning to put the two vehicles in front and in back of their camper so they couldn't leave. Steal the bikes and who knows what else? All of this was happening after parking security guard went on his break. Scary stuff. Please always be careful out there. This was in the US so not sure if in Europe things like that happen too.

Ah that's scary! You do have to really careful where you park, and get ready to leave if you start feeling worried in any way. I'm glad with this van we can climb straight to the drivers seat if needed, but luckily we've never felt unsafe before or had to move on (apart from the one time someone tried to climb in our van, but they weren't looking to cause damage or anything luckily). If a park up has negative reviews too we always avoid it! Got to have your wits about you for sure 😣💖
