I also worked at Tim hortons in Saskatchewan & have also witnessed this happen with a few customers. It is just a way of making someone's day.

The person behind paying happens all the time, especially at Tim's. When I was working DT we once had a run of 10 in a row, the person who's order was paid for would then pay for the order behind them, and so on. It really makes our day as food service workers, and it means everyone will be in a good mood.

19:29 I love that someone paid for his order, cause I've seen so many big food youtubers pay for other people, and seeing someone else pay for him, that's awesome. And that's the great thing about paying for someone else, you do it just for doing something nice, completely unbiased. I try to do it if when I'm able to, and I have had people pay my way too, it just shows how much care people have in what is truly a dark world.

As a former Tim Hortons employee I can tell you that all the donuts come in frozen and fully cooked. We "cook" them in the ovens from frozen and then glaze/dip them and put them out. Sadly it's not like the old days where we would make them in house. I worked midnights as a baker getting it all set up for the morning shift. The bacon is microwaved, the eggs come in that egg pattie form frozen and go in the oven. Everything comes in frozen including the bread and things are either just defrosted normally or put in the ovens to "cook" from frozen form. The most we do is glaze, dip in fondant and add sprinkles/extras like oreo crumbs, skor bits etc. The whipped cream actually comes in frozen as well and is called "whipped product" and it's actually whipped cream like what you get to put on pies etc. It's mostly chemicals and crap.

Dunkin Donuts in the states does it pretty much the same way. The major difference is that the food at Dunkin tastes like crap while the food at Tim Hortons tastes much better!

Wish we had Tim Hortons here, looks delicious! Gotta' propose the Frugality challenge again, Ken! Spend 24 hours eating at various fast food chains and try to get at least a main and a drink for $5 (or $6), and if you can fit it in, a side, as well. I'd love to see how far you can stretch that dollar!

I actually really really like a light plain donut, I dont like overly sweet sugared up rich donuts. I dont want my donut to taste like a slice of BDAY cake.

There is one near Ken that's 24 hours. It's one of the few day food places that serve breakfast so I'm sure it's on his list

Between you and Steve Wallis, I feel like I'm becoming a fellow Canadian, I caught myself saying "eh" just the other day.

That was fun to watch! Tim Hortons has really expanded their menu, lots of good stuff to try! A good tip is to have them use chocolate milk in the iced capp instead of the cream, really tastes good! Have a good one Ken!

Keep them coming yes I love the 24hour series as well. I like the variety that it give in one episode. You’ve got me trying other types of drinks, but the people I work with give me a ton of crap when I order a chocolate milk

Bagel Belt is my all time favourite Tim’s hangover remedy, someone got donuts, u lift the lid and find one plain , u reluctantly take a bite , it has a hint of the flavours of the good donuts, it’s sad 😢 I’ve had people ahead of me buy my order at Tim’s, it’s a great feeling , l too get remorseful when I only ordered a medium and it turns out to be my freebie. The closest IHOP to Ken (in Canada) is 2 hours away. They're also only open for 8 hours a day

I used to have those as breakfast to cheer me up days I didnt feel like going to the office. They are simple enough it doesnt overwhelm the taste of coffee 🤤

Tip with the air mattress, If you pump up during the day it will go down a bit at night as the air cools. Top up the air pressure just before bed time for a better sleep!
