You probably won't see this. But I just want to say I think it's really great that you don't put your daughter all over social media and you don't exploit her for views or money. I think you're such a great role model to others for that reason. Also I'm a single mom of a 6 year old and 24 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. It's great that you want to help others who are doing it on their own. Thanks so much for all you do!

Jess you did so good on your own. Your daughter is so blessed to have you as a mom. I’m a young mom of two girls 1 1/2 & 8 months (they’re Irish twins) and I’m pregnant with my third. I’m not a single mom but my husband works everyday, never takes a day off unless absolutely necessary. His shifts are 12+ hours and end at dawn. Our daughters see him for about 20 minutes in the afternoon before he takes off to work. I’ve been struggling, and need prayer. Thank you for making this video it was so relatable

Jess, I'm a single parent working from home so i have to juggle meetings in between naps or getting creative with wearing her in her carrier with a pacifier while running a meeting so they don't hear her. It's super hard but I'm doing it. House is not in shambles, we are both fed and happy. Prayers is all we need. We're blessed to have each other and family around. But thank you for acknowledging how hard parenting is. You're both doing amazing. We all are!

One of my favorite Netflix shows is called One Day at a Time and it's about a Cuban-American Catholic family. I love watching it with my family because it touches on a lot of issues in society that are not really talked about like mental illness, PTSD, sexuality & religion. I have to say I think it's a very unique show. This video made me think about it because you were being a "single" mom for a couple days and the mom in the show is a newly-single Army Veteran mother of 2 kids.

If you didn’t like his career choice you shouldn’t have married him and had kids with someone who you knew ahead of time would he gone at times. So why you’re asking for prayers is ridiculous when you chose your life and knew the circumstances.

@@babydoll774 Ur welcome and thanks for your kind reply. Ur on the right path. It will be ok. U already inspired me today. What i try to get in the habit of is right after i wake up i say reasons to be thankful, and try to be positive, then, compartmentalize thoughts, like what i cant do anything about at least not for the moment, so i tell myself i wont allow myself to worry about it. Then i think of what i can do something about, break down into small steps then even smaller steps in my mind and go thru it in my mind first then start to go about it, positively and trying to be patient along the way. and in long term goals, celebrating the smaller steps, the smaller milestones, and trying to stay on the bright side, trying to not be overwhelmed. Journaling, music therapy, checking out funny movies or shows, making time to relax with friends are good, too. Also, remembering this life is only temporary helps, too. Someday, we will have a permanent home in heaven with unimaginable joy and peace. Then we wont even remember the pain in this life but we have the eternal treasure from enduring it. Its all worth it. God is with u and your family. Dont lose hope.

I feel this video so much. We are a military family and he works so much. We have been in for 8 years now and have two little babies! You did so great being alone for a couple days. I feel like I absolutely crazy and feel like such a bad mom when my husband goes away! Love you videos❤ thanks for keeping us smiling! ❤

Love watching your videos! I have a 6 month old and my hubby works out of town so those three days for you is the normal for me. It can be a little stressful bc usually i get everything done by the beginning of the week and going on walks has literally been my way to get my mind off of how stressful it can be. Love my hubby so much for all the work he puts in so i can spend every day with my baby but wish he would be more present💙 Anyways love you and your beautiful family🫶🏼

He is getting better but it’s been really hard being a mom to my two girls and working full time. It is so reassuring to see someone else going through this too. Thank you Jess! ❤

I’m from Germany and similar to you my now husband and I were in a long distance relationship between Germany and America before moving and getting married 4 years ago. I’m now a mom of a 1 month old boy. It’s been difficult and lonely to be away from my entire family during this time, but I’m inspired by the wonderful mom you have become being in a similar situation 🤍

You're a great mum. Thanks for this video, Hi 👋🏻 I'm 23y/o, I'm part of a couple (not married) + we have 2 kids, girls ages 3 years old and 6 months old. My partner is in a band (Lavengro) here in Ireland. He travels a good bit and will be in Canada for a week in ten days time. Seeing you be so open about the ups and downs of when you're alone, not knowing what to do with your down time and then also switching straight back into mum life (not that we ever truly switch off) was great to watch, also great American accent you done really well. I LOVE the Ozzy accent- I've never actually been on a holiday before at all, but I want Australia to be one of the first places I hopefully go to!.. thank you ☺️

During his 48 hours off, he works part time at another fire department and part time as the maintenance man at our church! I stay home with our 16 month old girl. She and I have a blast but it can definitely be hard and/or lonely! Love your videos and love feeling inspired by you! ❤

Single mumma here! Been a single mum to my little man since the day he was born. He’s now 3 turning 4 in April. I’ve also got the added challenge of having a chronic illness and having had a stroke in 2020 so it’s been a challenge but I love my little guy more than anything and I’m always so grateful I get to be his mum. 💕

I definitely relate to this vlog! My husband just got back last week after a 6 week training for the Army. Last year he was gone for 6 months. Sometimes the days can be long and other times a whole month will fly by. Somedays you’re searching for things to do, and other days I feel like I’m drowning in chores with 3 kids. But it is fun sometimes (and silly I guess) to romanticize the time alone and feel like I’m living alone, since I never had that experience before either.

I had to move states to get out of an abusive relationship, it’s can be really hard finding community in a whole new state….But I praise God that he is protecting bub and I, that we can have the joy of the lord wherever we go and most importantly I’m grateful we love because he first loved us. Girl, your free time seems so chill, good for you! My days stressful all around the clock, and ist's very hard to care for a child alone, hats off to single moms!. I hardly find time for myself. I'm not a single mom, but feel like it because my man is out to work at around 7am and comes home at around 7pm, when it is bed time, so he sees our babe for from 5-30 minutes, depending on a day,and that's it! I found help for 2 hours 2 times a week, and it helps with with my sanity, and freed up little bit of time for editing my videos.Going to post the delivery vlog soon,so excited!😊 You r such a chill soul, stay this way. I had my daughter one month ago and my husband is a full-time PA student (8-5 everyday) and then has to study for multiple hours each night! So it feels like I'm a single parent sometimes 😅It takes a village to raise a baby! 💛
