i'd also say to find jobs that can improve yourself ( for example if u cant communicate well or if u have a fear of it then maybe you can overcome it if u have a job that involves you doing a bit of communicating ) or a restaurant to learn to cook better and also it's better if u find a temporary job and then continue on job hunting until you find one that you like ( with this you are actually working and getting pay instead of being jobless for 9 months and still looking for a good job )

Me too! I found trading (stocks, crypto, forex) that requires literally no communication but it is risky, hard to learn (my lessons come from ytb only and you have to figure out whats good or not by yourself. there are mentors but well i'm broke and don't like people lmao) and you kinda need money to start (thankfully my dad is down to help me but I still have to learn about it). I just thought I'd share in case it could help you find a cool job to do :) Anyways good luck for the future and let's hope we become rich!!!

Hmmm I have that fears and frustration at first too but then since i get to talk to my clients and sometimes chatting is exhausting i got to drop voicemails haha. then after a while i noticed Im not so against talking and communicating in english and its easier now. so now i practice with my nieces since im making video instructions at work haha. I guess practice and first step in breaking barrier is the key. just fo for it and if the first attempt failed, then try again. once you get used to it the fear will be gone and it only leaves determination

i can relate to this so much.. I'm also 23 and the eldest child.. my younger sister has more job experience than I have.. thankfully i got accepted last year as an online English tutor.. i could've pursued it as my main job but I don't want to regret not experiencing the job i want which is getting involved in agriculture.. I got rejected A LOT and was thinking of not pursuing it anymore and just find a decent job instead.. now i work in a company as an agriculturist and today's my 3rd day at my work! not to mention i get anxiety attacks A LOT. from finding a job and now having the job i want.. sometimes i question myself if this is the path i really want to pursue? because honestly I'm not enjoying my job so far but let's see nothing's easy in this world and i Know my younger self would be proud of me I've made it here.. sorry I shared too much 😅 but I'm rooting for you!! you'll find a job that fits you!!💖

I actually am at a comfort of my home doing freelancing myself not only because of rejection but also the bullying. I can't survive in the BPO environment because of a traumatic experience. Sure, the pay and benefits are high but your mental health is at stake too. If you have social anxiety, it's a dog eat dog world out there. I can pay my bills through freelance, be my own boss and got to have my own shop. It wasn't enough but I do hope I could earn as much as you do! T^T

I work in a BPO company for 6yrs now. The first 3yrs was phone voice customer service(US Client) and we always get irate customers everyday. The pay is average but still good compare to our local pay. The work was emotionally tiring especially when speaking with rude and self-entitled customers. I hate the job but I have bills to pay like rent, groceries and phone bill. Then after 3yrs they approve my request to transfer to Backoffice which is a non voice. The Task is fairly easy, no more talking to rude customers and I get along with my supervisor and teammates. And since pandemic happened we are now working from home which is a blessing cuz I don't need to rent anymore and we can take home our PC, and we are given Internet allowance monthly. Now I'm still working from home in our province together with my family and pets haha. Thank you for sharing your experience. My advice, if you live alone and work at home, then you might want to get a pet like dog or cat cuz It can be a little lonely sometimes.

I really can feel you when you said that although others would like to have what you have but you don't really like it and would love to do something you actually love (felt like a tongue twister!). I love how you were honest with that. And that you are still thankful and do your best. So although it's good to dream, I think just living in the moment is ok too. But still, don't forget to dream. And be thankful, of course. More power to you!

Like you, I've been living alone with no friends, no families. Haven't spoken Tagalog for many years now and it sometimes make me feel homesick. i really like these type of videos, it was really comforting. :) I'm in my mid-twenties and am currently in the process of finding my first "real" job, specifically web development. I think you gave lots of good advice in the video, but one that stuck out to me is the importance of investing in a skill, which i've actually done recently by trying email development which is not as big as web but still pays good. There's lots of opportunities out there, just gotta look for them, haha. I've actually been applying for a month or two now with no luck, so I've been working on improving my skills, and I think this video made me really consider starting freelancing soon since I often don't feel good living with my family and I have anxiety everyday. I see some comments here from those younger than me who've also mentioned they're not in a good living situation. I'd just like to say you're okay despite the situation you're in. As long as you stay focused on your goals, treat yourself with kindness, and regularly working towards the things you truly love, you're already there. Sorry for the ramble lol, but thanks for the video and i hope everyone here does well in life. Let's keep doing our best. :D

2:17 I felt this on a whole nother level! I’ve been unemployed since 16 and can’t get into the simplest jobs like a cashier or dishwasher. I went to apply too remote customer service jobs but I don’t have a good computer so fail and interviewers from zoom and on-ground never give me a follow up. I had so many interview request but gave up and won’t even bother honestly since I’m at a disadvantage with no car and a toxic household anyways- plus it was a huge waste of time dressing up, going into crowded buildings and waste gas to only get rejected. Now I’m trying freelancing as that’s my only shot for now as an undergrad graphic design student. I’m also gonna freelance with art and editing but setting everything up and building my portfolio seems overwhelming 😭

Helllo! I know how it feels to think that your life is boring and imperfect, but you really are in a grateful place right now, so many blessings upon you ^^ I'm also learning how to get home-based freelance jobs and searching through videos for tips, your video gives me hope because you had to earn it and showed us the process, I'm really happy for you! I am also going to try and apply for home-based jobs and earn enough money for the future, as I also hate call jobs xD I like typing and writing, it may be mundane to do it daily but no pain no gain right? So, thank you for your advices! Wish all who are looking for freelance jobs the best!

I love the vid, its fascinating to see ur life, some of the context from ur vid I see my self in you, but I love my current work since its my passion but the sick of doing it everyday just sometimes tires me out and sometimes I don't get my lighting spark in working because imma already doing it everyday, so loosen up and don't get jealous of some ones work if they love what they do, One think I learn is every people who have goals in life have there on separate problems that they need to counter.

Honestly this past few years after the breakout of pandemic, getting a job with higher salary is REALLY hard, companies are taking advantage of the people being jobless and applying for jobs with low salary. Trying to shift career as a VA is SOOO hard. Specially this year applying with no VA experience plus you need to earn income. I'm inspired by the VA bloggers giving us inspiration like this. But in reality, it's very hard. The competition is hard now. I would say, if you are currently studying your field. Just stick with it, even though you will be paid for low amount for experience. That would be nice.

Watching this video reminded me of myself in the past haha It wasn’t easy switching from typical office work to freelancing. It took me a long time to find an online job too. In my case, I applied and passed the first and second test but they didn’t reached out after the third test. I still hope it’s the one so I made a follow up email and they said I failed. At that time, I was thinking maybe free lancing isn’t for me.. I was really sad but they reached out after a few weeks and recommended me to another friend of his. Now, I’m still working on that company for more than a year now :) All is good in God’s time 🥰 P.S. I like your PC set-up. How did you built it? Can I ask for your tips? I’ve been waiting to build my own pc but don’t know where to start.

They could be very irate and it affects me badly. I've been an Online Tutor for 8 years and counting but I don't like the hassle of going to office now that I experience the WFH set-up. Now, I also work as a freelance Online Tutor alongside my BPO job and I have to say, I've been loving the work from home set-up because I procrastinate a lot too ahahhahaha. Having the flexible time is the best for me. I'm a year away to my 30s but I wish to reach that level like yours though. I am sure it will manifest with enough effort, I could do it XD
