I think that hate comment could be about usual stuff people can say to multiples : "you're a liar, DID doesnt exist" or "you're a liar we are a system, stop mocking us" that kind of bullshit from people who can take into acount only their own point of view, I think it's the basis of youtube's hate comment, narrow minds... And I a agree with you, all the entropy system looks so nice and fun. (im french, not totally fluent in english, so the concept of cinnamon roll is a bit blurred to me, sorry ^^)

@@wtnv Merci beaucoup !!! il est très bien ton français ^^ (You're english is right, thank you very much for answering me ! The sentence you wrote between parentheses is totally understandable, every french speaker would totally understand without a problem. But I want to help you since you look like someone who studdy french, a frenchie would have said "j'espère ne pas avoir fait de fautes" or "j'espère qu'il n'y a pas d'erreur dans mon message"... it's just the way you said things that seems a bit unnatural, but there's no grammatical or vocabulary mistake at all ^^, just the way to say it ^^ Frenchies tend to use more the expression "il n'y a pas de....." than the preposition "sans". To say more, because I'm a future teacher and i like too much to teach things xd, frenchies can contract the expression "il n'y a pas de" and say "ya pas de". even in the affirmative version, saying "ya de/du..." instead of "il y a de/du...". It's not grammaticaly correct, but you might see it very often so I tell you ^^. ) Sorry to have written that much ! ^^

OMG literally me when you described how when you’re living alone it’s so easy to just scroll endlessly down the internet cuz no one’s there to sort of remind you that you need to be productive. They don’t have to force me to do anything, their mere presence is a push for me to be productive instead of wasting my life away.

I can relate to this one step further, I don't know if people who are not DID experience something similar to this, but being DID myself, when I'm alone some of us fit into that role of lazy, no encouragement or authority as such. But, other alters will come out and do things or will encourage the other alters through passive influences. So ultimately our alters sometimes play the role of other people getting on to us. Like we live alone now, and theres a few alters that are really lazy don't clean up much will even pile up a full lot of rubbish in the bedroom and lounge areas... other alters come out and are upset by this, some will clean up, others just dissociate, and some will verbally target the alters that are making the mess and tell them to clean up. So some of our alters take on authoritive roles

  • @sammy431
    @sammy4315 жыл бұрын

Lol I feel like we are on the opposite end of this. We’ve been living alone pretty much since we were diagnosed two years ago, so we got very used to self soothing and management and all that, but we also just. Switched kinda whenever? Certain people enjoyed certain things more, but it was really nice to be home and just be? Let the littles front, be authentic without feeling judged. Now that we have housemates, most of our switches happen in our room and stay there. Housemates know about our DID and have met a few of us, but for the more anxious alters or the littles, there is a big desire to just stay in our room and not face other people. So we are slowly working on that. We’ve also had not great reactions before, as a lot of us deal with, so there’s that fear of housemates freaking out and such. Bleh. I appreciate the help with rent and such but we didn’t realize how little we cared about different people fronting until we weren’t alone in the house.

Kit thank you! NO ONE understands my extroversion and why I hate being alone. I've lived alone for 2 years now and it's so bad for my depression :/ People think it means I want to party or that i'm clingy or loud or unintelligent but I'm just painfully lonely. And I wish I had a partner just to be in the same space. Keep giving off the positive energy and honesty. It helps to know I'm not alone in this ♡

So glad you've found out more about the system from this experience. General 'rules' for Instagram is: post about once a day, no more than 3 times a day. Stories disappear so if you see something cool you can put it on there & the feed is for something you want to 'stay'. I use stories to post multiple pictures at an event for example & then I might post my favourite picture from that event to my feed. Stories are also good for things like ComiCons & trips (like Japan) to show lots of little moments you have experienced. Watch other people's stories & then check out their profile to see how they are using it. Good luck 😊

Man I don’t know what a normal Instagram feed is meant to be either, it scares me a bit to post, but a rule of thumb for posts vs stories I think is stories are good for little things like if you see a cool flower or want to do the equivalent of retweeting something (by sharing posts to your story). What you post is honestly unique to you guys, so go for what your comfortable with posting! Don’t worry too much about spam, if it bugs anyone they can sort it out for themselves.

If most of us are super stressed and can't be the one to fall asleep inn the body because, for us, stress=trauma nightmares, we have an adult paci so one of our littles, Mickey (who has no trauma memory) can fall asleep in the body. Plus, we have a GIANT teddy bear we sleep with every night that helps. I'm super glad you guys found a way to cope and function. - Casper from System Default

Hey guys :D I'm glad you are talking about living alone today. (Always happy to see you, Kit ^-^) I have a roommate, but we are barely interacting or spending time together which is why I am quite isolated when I'm not visiting friends or family...And especially now, that work and uni are taking a break, I am quite lost in my own system. Currently, after days of switching, I am finally back and we are still figuring out what to do to make our system work. We went through quite a lot of changes (I, for instance, can appear as 13- and 26 yo, depending on the situation) and the power between our parts changed when our two new members arrived. We've lost quite a lot of time and now have to rush with assignments, but we are managing it somehow. Just wanna thank you, Entropy System, for being so open and communicative. It really helps having someone to identify with. We wish you lots of fun in Japan

I use to get nightmares all the time when I was younger... like every night... That is until Pierre showed up... I didn't even know he was an alter at first but he kept showing up in recurring nightmares just before the scary part of the dream would normally start to happen and then he'd steer the dream into a different direction. I still get nightmare some times like if it's a dream I've never had before then I guess he doesn't know that he needs to show up but recurring nightmare don't happen anymore.

Occasionally I can have an existential crisis because of my own mental health, and your thoughts about what your purpose is made me imagine what it would be like to have several alters having existential crises at the same time :O I've definitely learned more about myself since living alone, and have changed and matured from that. I definitely enjoy my personal space, but it would be nice to have friends to come over every now and then.

I'm glad that these 6 months have been a vehicle for some positive changes but sorry it's been tough also. You must be so happy Andrew is home safe ^_^ Would love to see the video about / with yourself and Daniel sometime if you're happy to make it. Obviously this isn't about me but I wanted to say I really related to you here Kit. I'm a singlet but I am super extraverted and it can be really tough sometimes. There's a lot about how tough it can be as an introvert but you always have yourself. You don't always have people around you and when that's where you get your energy or mood boosts from, it's easy to slip into a lonely, depressive funk. I also found that I throw myself into being busy, so I forced myself to start reading and cross stitching again to learn to be in my own company.

Hey guys, this might be an odd place to ask, but does anyone have any advice for me? I split today, and while the new alter is sweet, enthusiastic, loving, kind, not easily scared, and refuses to give up, he also... only speaks... Russian. Obviously becoming fluent in a language whose alphabet I just introduced myself to today is not going to happen over night, same for him learning English. Does anyone have a good way I can communicate with him while we work together? We got a language learning app, so I could introduce myself, and I tried my best to explain what was going on, but any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much to anyone who replys!!!

i'm not too sure how this all works as i dont have DID/OSDD but i can try to help! maybe try drawing things and see if he gets them? say one of you draws a fish, you say 'fish', and if he understands he can say 'fish' in russian too. for more complicated things try google translate until you can communicate those things properly without help. you could also draw to help him learn the layout of your house. you mark a bedroom with the drawing of a bed, you mark the kitchen with a drawing of a fork, etc. again, i'm not too sure how this works as ive never had to fully communicate with someone i had a language barrier with, but i hope i helped a bit :)

Sounds like getting a translator app would probably be the best, also possibly communicating with pictures. Get a bunch of pictures together that represent different nouns, verbs, concepts (good, bad, sick, need, etc) and just string a bunch of pictures together. Worked for the cavemen. Out of curiosity, do you know if the body has been exposed to Russian? Is it possible that another alter has learned the language to some extent and could act as a go-between? For that matter, was English the bodies first language? That would be another area to investigate because it sounds like from your comment that you have little to no experience with this language and that's totally valid! But the idea that an alter could develop that fluently speaks a language the BODY has little to no experience with is...unlikely.

@@nuniyoa Wow, this is awesome!!! I will definatly be drawing him a map of our house now. The idea for teaching him english words with pictures is good to! He wouldnt technically be able to teach me russian (since he doesnt *actually* know it, but only perceives himself as knowing Russian and not English), but translation apps will be helpful. Thank you so much for your help!!! help!

@@BeAwesomeful We've been making due with google translate so far, as well as a language learning app. (I learn the Russian, then say it to him, then say the English. The first word was house, and once I got him to understand he ran outside and pointed at our house yelling "this is a house!") Pictures are also a good idea, and we will probably be able to build up a good way to speak much faster with that than with anything else. It will still take time for complex conversations, but still. It's something! And the body has had no exposure to Russian, and English is our first and pretty much only language... It seems that he doesnt *actually* know Russian, because he will forget it if you ask him for a word, and cant say anything that means something to an actual Russian speaker. However, once I put an English and Russian word next to eachother, he will understand both. I think hes learning just as much as I am, but doesnt know that himself. It does seem like an unlikely thing to happen... but I suppose it makes at least a little sense... if you have any thoughts I'd love to hear them, I dont think I quite understand how this is working either

No shade at all 😂 how about a few times a week or once a week? You also don't want to exhaust yourself trying to please the masses. You guys in the system matter most, not the fan base :) sending good energy and positive vibes ❤️

Instagram is easy, you just post pictures of things you feel like posting, adding in the caption what’s going on, you can post once or twice a day and it’s definitely not spammy! You can post as much as you want on your instagram story! It’s fun for us to watch things going on in your life besides set up videos ☺️

have a wonderful trip to japan, in regards to instagram, they usually are pretty relaxed, keeping a balanced presence on the app usually results in you not being harassed by the moderators of the app, they like to know that real people are using the app, so avoid spikes in activity and dont use the same hashtags for months on end. ( they think that spikes in activity are robots).
