Excellent conversation! I'm heading towards Bricks myself; partially because I feel that I'm ready to grow into more advanced areas such as coding but also for economic reasons. The current LTD pricing is extremely enticing and feature-wise I don't feel like I'm losing anything moving from Elementor. I also feel that Bricks has reached a maturity of stability, meaning that rapid growth is not the driving mechanism but building a quality product is. Based on their roadmap, it appears that a Global Class Management System and Global Components are coming shortly. I take that to mean that something like ACSS / WPCodeBox will be baked in. Do you concur? I still need to grow into that arena but I believe Bricks is in the best interests of my Web Creator future. Thanks to you, Paul & Dave, for sharing this conversation.

I use Option pages for client to updated static content on the about us and contact pages. I always create CPT's for services, testimonials and so on, so client has access to change content there. They dont have acces to my bricks builder.

@53:00+ Good point! Yes, for end-users, changing pure content in Gutenberg is simpler. Although, of course, there is always the risk that they accidentally destroy a layout. But this can be restored after all.

Completely agree about the point made about Bricks being more intuitive for those with a coding background. I personally find it makes more sense than El because of this, certainly helps me to build more semantic HTML and reduce bloat.

Awesome video for someone considering Bricks Builder. Question: Do we have any idea how the new (upcoming) Bricks Builder subscription model will work and what pricing we can anticipate?

Non-Black Friday Announcement: Our current pricing is already at its best, and we're set to raise lifetime prices and roll out yearly subscriptions as mentioned one year ago. Full details to come soon, and multiple weeks before the new pricing takes effect. But consider the current price a rare find that won't be around much longer.

Hi Paul. What is the physical device you are using to conduct this collaboration? Is that the device they call a stream deck by elgato?

I use a Stream Deck to switch camera angles, but the stream itself is handled via Ecamm Live.

@@WPTuts So the stream deck is what brought into view the scene where you are both side to side?

@@PswACC the Stream Deck is just a switch that changes the scenes I’ve designed in Ecamm. It doesn’t do anything more than that. 😁👍

Elementor is fataly flawed even if you want to do simple things. Lets say if you want to control the margins/padding for all containers sitewide. In elementor, there's no difference between a parent container and a child container. So if you keep the default padding as 20px or set it to something else, that also affects child containers. But now we're using flex box, so inner padding is not required anymore. So you may as well set the site-wide padding to zero. Then you have to manually set the padding on all your parent containers, on every responsive size. Lets say you want 50px vertical padding, and 20px side padding, and then on mobile, you want to reduce the vertical padding to 30px. Well, you have to set all values to zero, and then type them all again. Also, elementor grid layout doesn't work, so if I want to lay my columns out 4 in a row, and then 3 in row on tablet, and 2 on mobile, in oxygen this is a simple setting, but in elementor, you have to manually set the percentage width for every container to 25%, 33.33%, on every screen size which isn't proper flexbox. Elementor is a mess in my opinion.
