Khepran Thuram is rumoured to be now worth £15m amazing how Nice wanted like £40m to £50m last summer. We definitely need defensive midfielder, I wouldn't be surprised if we target for Mats Wieffer, Orkun Kokcu or two you mentioned here Adam.

I think slot would prefer his DM at feynoord. Thuram is a good player but will his wage demands be any different? I don't know much about fofana tbh.

I would prefer Marcus Thuram for Darwnin Nunez exchange to be honest. but I don't think the wage demands have changed on Khephren side. I strongly support Slot on bringing some of his players at the club. especially the defensive minded players.

do we need a holding midfielder ? I think we need a claude makelele.( makele at madrid, was a no-nonsense midfielder, play your role and nothing more that's what he told Figo and the rest of madrid Galacticos, Claude would destroy his opponents then pass to the players upfront simple, watch his interviews, just a no-nonsense DM) I think we need a Jordan Henderson, just break the opponent's attack pass to the players up front. if we could have 25 yr old replica of wataru Endo it would work just fine. Khephren is not focused when he is on defense, he is not on my list for our midfield and for good reason, we need more on the defensive end.

I flip flopped, during summer I was for Kheprhren for the number 8 position, now things changed, we just want a number 6, not a number 8. that's the Mac allister problem all over again. worse we already have this profile of player, we have bought Grav already. so it's a no from me. if we talk about number 6 and nothing more, then Khephren can find adventures elsewhere.
