This why I think the ESL was created to allow for the biggest clubs in Europe to play each other and institute a Salary Cap.
Before I watch this I’m going to guess they don’t know if whole club or part of the club is up for sale. They are just guessing.
Gab talking about fans who turn up to the game is laughable. Most fans will bite your hand off for a ticket. Saying Everton building a stadium is not even remotely a problem for Liverpool.
This guy seems all over the place
Buying any other prof sports team in a league with a salary cap probably seems more apealing then whats starting to happen in the epl. 200mil a transfer window is starting to be nothing with the new owners coming in.
The income of a club has NOTHING to do with its city anymore. The cash from the gates is insignificant now days due to the tv rights money. And Liverpool get large gate sizes anyway. And take far more than the German clubs take at the gate. The tv money however makes the clubs origin irrelevant. As long as the club draws big tv numbers. And there’s only utd up there with them. So all this makes your debate strange that you would completely ignore where money comes from now.
The haaland era in prem league makes titles less viable… so growth based on success is limited… better to get out of the game than pour more money into a sinking ship

Gab should have looked up Liverpool's revenue before this as honestly he's a mile off. If the club was struggling to fill the stadium (which is expanding rapidly because they can fill it), or they had trouble selling premium seating, he would have a point. And ranking about Liverpool being a less affluent city so it can't compete in revenue is just nonsense. Liverpool can't compete financially because FFP is a paper tiger that's meant clubs like City, PSG, and now Newcastle can sportswash to their heart's content. FSG built the model on their belief of what FFP would be and Klopp has made it work, but that's only feasible for a finite time, and that time has run out.

It is never clear to me if these clubs are making money or is it just that the value of the club is increasing. There seems to be a lot of money out there but it also seems like the clubs that are spending fortunes and hiding their expenses are the ones that are winning. Does Liverpool and Man city make annual profits or is it just a manipulation of the books.
football tickets prices in the UK are too expensive and footballers' wages are way to expensive, there needs to be a cap on players' wages and if clubs break the cap they get relegated 2 divisions and fined and players found taking under-the-table payments should be banned from football

Gab. I don't agree with your analysis about the FSG's investment proposition, first it is not sale of the club, secondly the assumption made that Liverpool cannot compete with Man city and Man u is flawed,. Liverpool may not be a big or rich city but it has a good tradition of football that compares positively in its favour than Man city. It has a good fan base to sustain its business, the other point raised about the brand of Liverpool is another nonsense FSG has done a lot to improve this over the years to where it is at the moment. It is projected that the revenues for last year is supposed to be bigger than Man u and Man city's. The STRAWMAN you are peddling is that Liverpool cannot compete with Man U, Man city and Chelsea on player investments, what exactly do you base this upon?, as FSG has a unique strategy that seems to work well that is not like that of PSG and Man city that accepts a loss every year, even they are changing their model to a more sustainable one like FSG has in LFC. The comparison of LFC to Arsenal is farcical. what makes you think that this will happen?. Last year Liverpool went for the quadruple resulting in a very high revenue and projected profit figure, this elevated the financial status of the FSG as it added a £100m. Your prognosis about the clubs future is NONSENSICAL. The models to looks at are the ones in Europe that fares favourable with that of FSG instead of looking at the inefficient models of PSG and Man city who happen to be the worst performers in Europe per amount of investment in their clubs.

You know what? If they got sold they're gonna win at least 1 title before Klopp leaves 😂😂

Liverpool didn't spend 30 years without trophy. It was a league title they didn't win. They won a few trophies during that period including 2 champions league trophies. Which is two more than a couple of these super rich clubs have in their entire history

All that financial doping has city going loopy..so much they allow other fans to live rent free 👍🏽 strange how they talk about 30years but still they are no where near Liverpool's trophy wins.
Gab is a LFC hater, he keeps showing it again and again 😂
