Liverpool Giants (WWI Centenary Commemoration & Liverpool Biennial 2014) , Day 3 of 3, Video 1 of 4

The Liverpool 2014 Giant Spectacular commemorating 100 years since the start of World War I.
This is from Day 3 of the of the events, and the final day with the Giants.
Click "Show More" for a full description of this video.
The parade begins with (a representation of) the men (and boys) of Liverpool who are in the one of the four local Pals battalions which were formed.
Following them is Xolo, The Little Girl's affectionate dog.
Behind Xolo is a troupe of bagpipe players, the Liverpool Clan Wallace City of Liverpool Pipes and Drums band. This is a commemoration of D-Day.
Following the band are people drumming on top of cars stacked on cars - I don't know what this represents and need to find out! Maybe it's just for fun :-)
After the car drummers are the people left behind at home. Many of those who went to war never returned.
The parade continues in the next video.
The Giant Spectacular was created by Jean-Luc Courcoult and Royal De Luxe.

My apologies for any quality issues - I couldn't see what I was filming most of the time, either due to holding the camera at arms' length or having the sun in my eyes, plus the occasional jostle from fellow spectators :-)
