Won the league title after 30 years, and was soo close to wining a couple more, won us the champions league and more after being a sleeping giant really. He's been our best player in the last few games. He's the only forward who has the ability to slow things down which looks awkward when the rest are going at a 100mph. I think he'll thrive with a manager who plays at a slower tempo

Liverpool are what they are because of Mo Salah. His decline was always going to mean the end for both Klopp and Liverpool.

I think the whole strategy of buying these ‘energiser bunny’ high press type of attacking players has blown up in Klopps face. They can run all day but just lack technical quality and all looks so messy. Need an Olise/Palmer/Maddison type of player that offers something a bit different.

The game was so Intense yesterday even Allison was playing in midfield 😂

I now agree I was sad to see him go but he made the right decision to go he looks well and truly buggered. Watch his first press conferences and one near title win and now and the differences are staggering. Usher in a new dawn new ideas a new way of playing where these injuries each year under Klopp don’t keep appearing constantly and see where we go. Who knows it could backfire massively and we drop again but hey Ho let’s see.

The guys been great but has no legs after 15 mins in the past 2/3 games. His football only works if the players can run around a lot and press the opponent. They were out pressed tonight by Atalanta again and he had no answer. He had a week to work out how to combat it and failed.

Great at teaching pressing etc but the fact we haven't got a single player other than Diaz who can beat a man, or touch and turn without just running into someone costs us whenever we get pressed. It's so easy as we just pass it backwards/sideways and always end up giving it away to the press

I'm just happy we have so many points in prem at the minute because if we was fighting for top 4 we wouldn't get it and wouldn't be surprised if we lose the rest of the away games as we look so bad

Atalanta played on the Monday and had less time to prepare for the game than Liverpool also

I don't think Liverpool have the excuse of burnout. We've heavily heavily rotated. Yes due to injuries. We've not had a consistent cb next to virgil. We have a different midfield each game. Salah has had time out. The only ones that can be accused of burnout are Nunez, Diaz, Macallister, and Virgil.

Injured players take time to regain form and full fitness.... That is a big factor in all of this. Just look at Salah since he came back from injury. Has been poor! Took VVD 18 months before he looked back to his best after that serious injury.

Hypothetically if City are fined guilty of at least some of their 115 charges and are stripped of their titles, Klopp shouldve ended up with 3 or 4 titles.

I don't think it is healthy to have any coach announce they are retiring during a season & then just be left in charge to deliver. Once you decide you are quitting, the fight can drain away, the importance can drain away, you can check out before you physically leave. I didn't expect it would be the case with Klopp but the team has reflected that since he spoke those words.

The signings and departures have been the biggest factor. Look at the signings and their impact. Gakpo simply not good enough. Szlobazli, poor, Endo bang average, Nunez awful, Konate average. Losing the likes of Fabinho, Henderson, Mane, Firmino, they have been replaced by sub standard…

Most of Liverpool’s top players have been injured for a huge chunk of the season, they should not be tired. The kids played with heart, that’s the difference.

Why ring up if you're so easily wound up?

Have they both won every trophy going? Don't get me wrong what what Ranieri did was probably the greatest ever single achievement in English football so is a legend for that. But be honest every club in the world would want Klopp to be their manager. Even City so they could watch some exciting football for once.

Klopp shouldn't have announced that he was leaving half way through the season, we kept winning but eventually the cracks began to show. Given they haven't been serial winners under Klopp lets face it, certainly nothing like City under Pepe or Utd under Fergie, I believe he miscalculated sentiment and his team in general by announcing his departure at a crucial part of the season a couple of months back. Klopp realised the team was not going anywhere and decided to pack it in. If we don’t get a world class manager we will be lucky to get top 4 next season.
