Excellent interview! She is an amazing artist and performer. I remember working as an usher when Quidam came through Pittsburgh in 2003 and was awestruck by her. Never wanted to miss her performance. I was a huge fan of her but had no idea about her story. She truly is blessed to have worked for so long. Thanks for this wonderful interview.
She's truly an icon

Thank´s for this interview, i saw Alegria when i was very young haha, i´m 43 now and when i saw Elena for the first time on the DVD almost cry, and see her 25 years later for mi it´s heart touching, and a gift, sorry mi english, and greetings from Argentina!! And she´s so right, the new music for the act it´s perfect!! Still cry whith mi favourite act, the flying man, and Elena´s act!! Never underestimate Hula Hoops!!!! Love from Argentina to Elena and thank´s!!!
Yes, an amazing woman. Just looked for her biography on audible with no luck. I hope it's out somewhere so I can find it. Thanks you Elena for all you've done and the inspiration you've given others.
You are amazing Elena!! What a wonderful life you’ve had. Good luck for the future
So smart, talented and oh so beautiful. Algeria is the best performance show I have ever seen, (video.) Truly amazing. Thank you, Bravo.
That’s an awesome interview. I had no idea how much Elena has done in her career. Contortion is an underrated, under appreciated art in the US, in my opinion. I hope as long as, you Elena, continue to exercise your body for contortion it won’t give out on you. I have seen many older yoga practitioners who remain limber. Perhaps God has graced you with such a body. I now want to see other work’s you’ve done in addition to the filmed Allegria I’ve already seen many times.
What an inspiration!
Wow! This was a really good in depth interview. Always been a fan of Elena. Great job and thanks for doing this.

Alegria, is my all time fav. Your act in Alegria is amazing!!! I didn't know you were 12 years old when you started with le Cirque du Soleil. I miss out on the new show of Alegria, hope can see it in person one day.
