They did have a series but i think it was axed after like 10 episodes lol. I don't remember much but it was really way back like more than 7 years ago where they had this anime for maplestory. I don't know if you can still find it but it was bad.. lol

I firmly believe the only way to persuade Nexon to reverse the New Age nerfs is by impacting their primary concern: revenue. With Black Friday approaching, we, the players, must take a stand to demand their attention. Otherwise, they will continue to overlook our concerns. It's counterproductive to request the removal of daily restrictions while simultaneously spending money on the game; this only leads to our voices being ignored. I advocate for a 'No More Money to Nexon' movement in November, offering us a slim chance, perhaps 1%, to make them consider our opinions. As a long-time Maplestory player, I've observed that Nexon rarely acknowledges player feedback. Communications with GMs often result in generic, automated responses. The most effective message we can send is a clear indication that their revenue will suffer due to these new restrictions, which might prompt them to reconsider. Unfortunately, I'm unable to access the Maplestory official Discord channel as they've restricted player entry. I hope someone within the channel can disseminate this message to rally more players, amplifying our collective voice to Nexon. Thank you!

Amazing trailer! The compilation of 6th job skills meshed with the beat is done really well. There are some animation snippets I don't recognize, e.g. Angelic Buster in the Nightmare Clocktower (?) or Kinesis by the Lake of Oblivion (?). I scroll down and see the comments of this trailer bringing new people to the game, but guys think about if you were a new player.. first of all you need a pet to pick up items, where as in most new games that mechanic doesn't really exist - it completely rules out an "f2p" game tactic.. Second, you have to make multiple new characters to build your legion grid, yeah sure you try out new characters and you'll build up some levels on your account.. but it's still a slow progress. As someone who has a busy life, I'm 26 I work fulltime - yeah some people have a great amount of time on their hands. Others have limited.. All I am asking is make the early game progression 1-200 faster or.. expand the early game areas like victoria island and make it more enjoyable to level like an ACTUAL RPG!!!! Also, give the players at least 1 pet per character made just for free permanently. It's not ideal to keep pressing "Z," in today's age. I feel like these two small things would greatly benefit and improve the game early on!! I really believe this Nexon, you're game will grow with those last two things I implemented in my comment! - sigh, we can only hope for great changes to come to a game we love... I want all classes to bring remastered, make the story of the game expand or make grinding more fun in some way, provide different paths to players in their game experience add more group play like pt quests, free pets..... this is what all the PEOPLE WHO PLAY OTHER MMOs WANT!! all the new players who all want to come to the game, won't come until the changes i mentioned are made. That's what all of these other MMOs out there do better on....... I can't express myself enough.. I love MapleStory, but I'm getting tired. Even though this trailer looks amazing and flashy it does not reflect how the actual game is....

Well it all depends on individuals , I just want to play it casually not trying to win everything in the game so yeah 👍 , but there's not much mmo that interests me out there , many have pointed out oh that's good ah this is good , I've tried multiple and all are boring to me 😂 . But I agree with you on the permanent pet shit that they should provide even if it's a shitty looking one 😂 , it's really unnecessary to make players press z to pick up shit .

I made a comeback and it took me 20 days to lv245 and doing boss runs not very time consuming compared to other mmos out there .

post new age getting to level 260 is only half a year of JUST doing dailies. if you farm at all its super quick, and hyper burn turns that half a year into 50 days, again just with dailies. it really doesnt take that long if you actually play the game and train

I played Maplestory so long ago that I log in today and I am so confused. I go to the old group quest areas and see them empty and it makes me sad. I miss the days of jumping up and down in Ludi group quest spamming for a group to invite me lol

#SewAge Great way to absolutely kill any and all interest that you had built up for the game Nexon America! Adding huge nerfs to the upcoming patch that has gotten so many people interested in playing Maplestory again, all without any communication with the players! Remove the Sol Erda Energy cap and revert the White Jade Ring Box change at the bare minimum if you want to retain any form of integrity you would also need to make a statement about frenzy totem for non-reboot worlds.

Except we don't get 6th job on the 15th

Its really outdated game, cool and nostalgic but outdated. It needs a revolution not just improvement. Still, I must say the 6th job skills looks amazing especially the anime ones but for 2023/24 that is not enough for me :( It takes super long to get this high anyway and endgame was boring af back in the day, duno how it looks now. I have good memories with this game, shame all of these sick looking classes wasn't available when I was playing. Trailer is very good tho.

As far as endgame content goes, back in the day cant even begin to be compared to now, the game is objectively far better than it used to be (i guess depending on what you mean by back in the day) i will agree with you that there are things that need to be fixed, but at least they are drip feeding us some of those updates (like 2k/4k res in new age for example)

"permanent job" doesnt make any sense, what does that mean. also i guess you havent played maple in the last 8 years or so. 5th job have skills in each class that vastly change how you play and your strength. 6th job has its own skills, as well as upgrades to all 5th job skills, and to your 1-4th job skills. On release there is only 1 6th job skill per class and 1 1-4th job upgrade per class, but there are planned to have up to 6 and 4 respectively, eventually. as well as 4 common 6th job skills that any class can use. all your comment shows is that you dont know what you are talking about. thats not a bad thing, its just obvious you dont actually play the game anymore.

You have 5 job now but you still use 4job skills as a main skills, 5job is only like 3 skills with big cd and the rest are update for the 4job skills to make them stronger wich will force you to keep using 4job skills for about 90% of the gameplay, and so will be 6job just skills with big cd and upgrade for the 4job skills 😜

@@JJProductions 6th job boosts also change the function of said skill, its more than just increasing the final dmg of the skill. also, 5th job introduced actual skill rotations and good bossing content into the game, before 5th job the game had no sustenance . if you never used any skills from prior jobs then there would be no point in them existing, what you are saying doesn't make any sense because you have a clear lack of understanding of the basic gameplay loop. As a paladin I have 4 5th job skills. One of them is a big buff I use every 90 seconds, that lasts 45 seconds, that's a 50% uptime. another is my burst skill, which has a 3 minute cd (the duration of my full rotation) and does in total about 20% of my damage. I have 2 more attack skills, one that activates hammers that rotate around me and deal dmg for 30 seconds with a 60 second cooldown (again 50% uptime) and another that you can use every 12 seconds to throw out a homing hammer that either bounces between mobs or pummels the boss repeatedly. Without these skills the class would have nothing but straight bonking for 3 minutes, and its not the only class that would be like. most classes in the game have almost nothing prior to 5th job, that's really when the game actually becomes a game and when you use more than just 1 skill. and if you look at a class like fire/poison, most of their skill usage is just their 5th job skills. what you are saying doesn't make sense because its simply inaccurate, if you don't play the game you shouldn't comment on how it works as though you do, simply to mislead people that don't know any better.

It is more Pay2Conveniece than Win. Bera and Reboot are the best ways to play the game, but Reboot is substantially more expensive if you care about fashion and cosmetics.

someones gonna watch this and think the game looks like this and download only to be dissapointed

new trailer looks great but will it live up to the hype or is it going to be another one thats generic. prediction: -new area looks nice but players will probably beat it within the month so itll be outdated fast. -6th job looks cool but its just another grind to reach that level and boredom of the job will happen within 2 weeks just like most new jobs that came out in the past. -attention span is lower due to no actual interactions in game and all offline and in third party chats. -6th job just looks like 5th job where you use your main attack once and than it just goes on to cool down. also all this skill tree building is too complex for me to dig into when there isnt much content to last more than a couple of months. (still wanna play the dark version of heros like being on the fallen black mages side instead of generic hero. idea is still there if you ever wanna use it lmao.)

The game fucking died. Good job everyone. It's been a fun 20 years but they fucked it all up so bad its hilarious. Happy celebration to you Nexon, you're now another Blizzard Games in the market.
