Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel argued with Judge Ural Glanville about addressing him inappropriately on several occasions in front of the jury. The argument comes after Glanville stated that he believes Steel was "unprepared." Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang.

Jury Makeup: 12 = 7 Black women, 2 Black men, 2 white women, 1 white man. Plus 6 alternates. 18 total jurors in the courtroom.

Mindblown the number of people in chat talking about Steele's issue with the victim testifying ...it had nothing to do with anyone helping him. Judge had ruled no victim impact statements or witnesses at trial. CLEARLY, that is the ONLY reason prosecution put him on the stand ....the only reason!!! He had no problem with someone helping the victim out of the courtroom ...however, it obviously brought sympathy from the jury (as it should have and would according to Steele) ...totally proving that he should not have been brought in as a witness ...this judge doesn't even follow his own rulings if it affects the state ....judge said what he said about defendant to try and avert from Steele's real objection (knowing that he wanted to make Steele look bad to the jury) and ignoring the true issue of him not honoring his own court order....judge is pathetic and should be recused!!!

This trial seems crazy, everything they show in terms of crime is done by people who got deals or already served time for them. I don’t think I have seen anything about anyone in court except Stillwell who is basically talking ish on social media. That’s not a crime. By the time the def gets to put on its case the jury will have forgotten most of the states case.

The focus of RICO cases is often on showing that the crimes were committed as part of the overall activities of the enterprise, rather than necessarily linking every act directly to a ring leader. The law is designed to target the broader patterns of crime characteristic of organized groups, rather than solely focusing on individual actions. This approach allows for leaders of a crime organization who might insulate themselves from direct involvement in criminal acts to still be held accountable for their role in directing the criminal enterprise.

The focus of RICO is often on showing that the crimes were committed as part of the overall activities of the enterprise, rather than necessarily linking every act directly to a ring leader. The law is designed to target the broader patterns of crime characteristic of organized groups, rather than solely focusing on individual actions. This approach allows for leaders of a crime organization who might insulate themselves from direct involvement in criminal acts to still be held accountable for their role in directing the criminal enterprise
