Live With Me - The Rolling Stones - Live at The Marquee, 1971.
Song: Live With Me
Artist: The Rolling Stones
Album: Let It Bleed (1969). This version is from Live at The Marquee, 1971.

Along with "Honky Tonk Women," this was one of two songs new guitarist Mick Taylor, who replaced original member Brian Jones, played on Let It Bleed, released in November 1969. He and Keith Richards produced a distinctive 2 lead guitar sound.
This also marked the first appearance of Bobby Keys, who played sax on this and many other Stones songs. He had toured in the past with Buddy Holly and Bobby Vee, and went on the road with The Stones from 1969-1974. Keith Richards and Bobby Keys became very close friends, and they were born on the same day: December 18, 1943
[Verse 1]
I got nasty habits
I take tea at three
Yes, and the meat I eat for dinner
It must be hung up for a week
My best friend, he shoots water rats
And feeds them to his geese
Don't you think there's a place for you
In between the sheets?
[Chorus]
Come on now, honey
We can build a home for three
Come on now, honey
Don't you want to live with me?
[Verse 2]
And there's a score of harebrained children
They're all locked in the nursery
They got earphone heads, they got dirty necks
They're so 20th century
Well they queue up for the bathroom
Around about 7:35
Don't you think we need a woman's touch
To make it come alive?
[Chorus]
You'd look good
Pram-pushing down the high street
Come on now, honey
Don't you want to live with me?
[Verse 3]
Whoa, the servants they're so helpful, dear
The cook she is a whore
Yes, the butler has a place for her
Behind the pantry door
The maid, she's French, she's got no sense
She's from the Crazy Horse
And when she strips, the chauffeur flips
The footman's eyes get crossed
[Outro]
Dont you think there's a place for us
Right across the street
Don'cha think there's a place for you
In between the sheets?

Bill Wyman really lays it down on this track - is he properly acknowledged as the great bass player he was for the Stones? One of the greatest imo.

Keith thinks he's a GREAT player.Insisted on taking over in the studio now and again though, to get his feel on it(mostly a root note pump)Often worked sometimes didn't.

You got that right my friend.
When the Stones get down to business, play as a band and do it in a smaller venue, it becomes obvious why the Stones are The STONES.
Unshaven Keef up for three days laying down the riffs , nothing better.......

I love this song 🎵 ❤️ and the Stones 🎵 ❤️ 💕. I would love to live with Mick and Keith. They both look so damn fine as wine 🍷.
Love all their small venue performances. This is one of my favorite songs!! They’re so free and uninhibited….best of rock and roll!!

The Mick Taylor Worshippers, also known as the Mick Taylor Warriors, the Mick Taylor Zealots or the Mick Taylor Mystics, are a prominent group on certain websites dealing with The Rolling Stones. They determine what is true or false. Their credo runs as follows: Before the guitarist took up full-time employment with the group, RS had been a bum band. With the glorious advent of Mick Taylor RS were elevated to a high(er) plane. When he terminated his employment, RS became a bum band again. So this credo proves that The Rolling Stones have been a bum band for over 55 years and that it was for five years only that they played tolerably well, which fills the Mick Taylor Worshippers with intense delight and nourishes their sense of grandiosity.
These Marquee Club sessions are KILLER !!!!! Stones, then, now & forever.....
Best Stones ever filmed!!!
they re all in fuckin fire. The greatest times to the Rolling Fucking Stones.
WOW one of my favorite songs and this is BEAUTIFULLY done, IMO. This IS the 70s. Keef is really wasted and just the entire band jamming at a club. The way music should be.

Bobby Keyes!
Bad ASS Stones!!!
For years I have watched The Stones 1971 Marquee show and have wanted to love it. Don't get me wrong, great camera-work, great set list, even great playing, but OMG, that audio mix is absolutely horrendous. Most of the songs you can barely hear and/or differentiate the instruments. To see The Rolling Stones in a club environment is a major treat. I have been blessed to see them at Toronto El Mocambo. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to have great video of them at their prime. Marquee would have delivered that if the sound was properly mixed.

Mick Taylor, Jim Price, and Bobby Keys. The horns where in between their album/tour with Delaney & Bonnie and lead guitarist Eric Clapton's solo album, and his next band Derek and the Dominoes.
