Just out of hospital having suffered my 2nd stroke in 6 years and like the first one, I look to Mick and Dan to help me along with my recovery. I saw you 6 years ago at the London show (opened my wallet which said I struggle to speak) and tried telling you how important you were in my recovery. Well, unfortunately it's happened again but every cloud... I can catch up on all the episodes I missed. Keep rolling, you do a fantastic job.

Jamie! Thanks for the message man, and really sorry to hear that you’ve had another setback. I often recount our meeting to friends of mine when they feel like they’re in a tight spot, because your bravery and determination was, and remains, incredibly inspiring. Sending you big love and the best of everything with the road to recovery. Thanks for being with us!

I enjoy the complimentary interest my wife has in nurturing plants (many of which are edible) to my preference for keeping growth in check and trim. I only ask that boundaries are well established and she clearly identifies any " no go" zones which I happily leave to her control. Our age has (apparently) little or no influence on our cooperation - although I will now haul her gardening supplies.

I missed this show originally, the garden centres are now open full bore and my wife was supremely stoked, but what a fantastic show! Chris Buck is a stellar player and such a nice dude, and he fits into the TPS sense of humor seamlessly. The point is that I've been wanting Thorpy (I absolutely love the military spec aesthetics) pedal for a long time but don't want to duplicate functionally something I already have, and the new CB dual overdrive fits the bill perfectly! Now to somehow secure funding from 'she who must be obeyed'...... Thanks guys, as always!

Maybe look at a band further down the ‘food chain’ too Ed from Brave Rival might be a good shout (they have supported Cardinal Back) and that whole incessant touring/ crowd funding/ and having a small pedal board for overseas travel.

Chris is a fabulous guest and an even better Musician, poor old Dan he's Crook again Dan you might have to leave that " BALL GRABBING " alone for a week or two!! . You guys shows are so much more than a basic must guitar show it's like Freud and Satra and Einstein meets the Namm show . Sorry Mick my grammar, syntax etc is shite , I know because of your previous life reading this tosh must be like nails on a blackboard. My Mother in law suffers badly from vertigo as do another couple of people I've met recently. Because I live in a tiny Hamlet in rural Ireland most people tend to leave conventional Medicine and go and see the local " WISE WOMAN " much to the annoyance of the good Doctor. Thanks again have a wonderful week. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.

I run two wet/dry amp heads (modern Two Rock and Matchless) from a U.K. voltage, dual output Brown Box, usually in the region of 228-234V. Gives you a bit more sag and extends the tube life. Obviously if you;re using vintage tube amps, then it becomes a bit more of a priority. For modern amps. I put it in the same mental bucket as a high quality buffer or very high quality head>cab speaker cable: you don’t need one, but it’s hard to go back once you start using one. Edit: fyi the Brown Box doesn’t set the voltage to a consistent/specific level, it just attenuates by a certain voltage. So if Dan’s mate with the 255 sets it down 25 volts to 230 or whatever, it will still go up to 235 if his house power suddenly goes to 260V. Also means that if the venue climbs 5-7V during the evening (not entirely uncommon), you’re still below 240V on the amps.
