I feel like having to use the Yolobox hurts the the advantage of the osmo pocker 3 vs a regular phone. The advantage of the osmo is that its a small, stick looking thing that's inconspicuous. With the yolobox taped onto it, its now a big, cumbersome video looking object. I feel like at that point might as well use a phone with gimbal.

The advantage is the almost unbreakable 3G connection, the replay action button, the other functions and features of yolobox… but it’s not as cumbersome as holding a old style gimbal and camera rig weighting over 4kg Live streaming this way is much better professionally than just a phone camera…

You can get a clean 480p, 720p or 1080p on the phone and osmo pocket 3 combination… it’s only limited by the WiFi connection and exterior radio interference it gets from 2.4ghz and the 5.8 GHz I’d say in urban areas or places with buildings… you will get glitches because the nature of scattered radio waves on walls and things… That’s why I recommend the Osmo pocket as a webcam to a yolobox or portable livestream system with LTE modem or wired connection to the internet…

I have a Bad (red) Keyframe Intervall, when i live Stream with my DJI osmo Pocket 3. the Stream is a bit laggy. Can you help ?

I assume you are using the osmo with the Mimo app… using it with the WiFi connection to your phone… The lag is because of the WiFi connection… you could improve it a little by changing the osmo connection to 5.8 GHz in the hexagon icon settings at the bottom of the menu The 5.8ghz is a frequency that doesn’t have many competing radio interference… But like I said in the video… I use it as a webcam or direct wired connection to yolobox mini for even better performance

What if you have a 5G Netscape HotSpot? Just asking. Is there a way to connect the phone via the hotspot to create a stronger connection?

The WiFi connection is still vulnerable to interference… I used a 5G connection to the osmo and in a crowded city area I got glitches during a live stream… Yet in the same area I used a wired connection from osmo pocket to a yolobox with a sim card it was perfectly normal… The only difference is the WiFi was not involved in the live stream… If only DJI could have a sim card to allow glitch free live streaming… But instead using the pocket 3 as a webcam wired to a yolobox works very well in urban environments…

For me it was a good solution to a walkabout live stream… here’s the street test kzread.infowo-YeX5Facs?si=MpSHBO5Zd1T_nivH I Walked in and out of ground level shops and didn’t have a problem… only half way through the livestream I decided to record the rest of the live stream on sd card when the colour turned funny ( don’t know why) Anyway I was outputting 3mb constantly and zero drop in frames at 1080p it seems good to me… The osmo pocket 3 and the yolobox mini was put together as a lightweight handheld rig less then 1kg… I used a battery handle to extend the operation time and it seems good for a couple of hours…

I want to live stream on Twitch while fishing. I will use my mobile phone's internet. Do you recommend it or should I get a different device?

Yes I can recommend it… especially if you are livestream away from urban or crowded areas… The limiting factor is the phone’s battery… if you can top up with a battery bank it should be ok… if you are using the osmo pocket 3 you’ll also need the device to be topped up… You can get away with a hours live streaming but any longer then you’ll need a battery bank preferably with PD charging or power delivery charging as it will quickly top up your charging…
