One of the significant enablers of improving the flow of value delivery is focusing on a big culprit of inefficiency: waiting time (delays) between the value-adding tasks. This factor is almost always an area for improvement, yet no one is attending to it in most companies. We have a new mini workshop (half day) and Al and I will discuss it’s focus - how to learn about visualizing work, identifying when it is delayed, techniques for raising awareness of what is happening, and how to begin collaborating on options to reduce or eliminate the delay.
