    It's June 2022 when I saw this and it's been the answer to many tech questions and prayers! Due to Covid, our church was closed for two years and we learned to do Zoom and later incorporated KZread live streaming. Now that we're back in the building, but desiring to continue live streaming, we've encountered a number of issues. I've learned more in 12 mins from your video than I have in hours of watching KZread videos and online searching for direction and advice. I feel more confident now that we can make this work within our budget. Thank you so much for sharing. Thanks for including the information so that I didn't have to keep stopping to take notes! Just Awesome work.

    Awesome. This is Wonderful Guys. Just to sit and watch a Daughter, a Sister Girl Child being technical is what this world needs. Really IMPRESSED🙏 And to Sir, the Technical Guru for the Church I salute You Sir. This is Great. Impartation of Skills is what we lacked as a God Loved People. It has to start with some committed someone and am in Joy we got You Sir. Keep teaching these kids. They will remember and appreciate all this in the years to come. Thank you for sharing this information. We are so far on point, with what I've seen.our problem is connected to go live. We test run on Saturday before Sun service. But when we come in on Sunday morning, we struggle to be able to go to ( Go live ) it doesn't want to connect up and when it does it goes in and out

  • @RestTabernacle

    @RestTabernacle

    Жыл бұрын

    If the problem is only on Sunday mornings, then there may be an issue with your internet, particularly the speed at the time you go live. Try and run a speed test when you do your test on Saturday and do another speed test on Sunday to compare. If your upload speed is lower on Sunday mornings, then you may need to adjust your output settings to allow a more stable stream.

    Very instructuve Most cameras mentioned here use battery. But considering most services last for like 4 hours, how do you deal with the battery? Is there a way to charge the camera directly while shooting? Or is there a budget friendly camera that can do it? Considering the audio. The behringer capture card used, when all instruemnets are being played, would it produce good output or a cracked one

  • @RestTabernacle

    @RestTabernacle

    2 ways to tackle the battery issue. The most efficient way is to use a dummy battery kit that plugs into a power outlet. Just find the kit for your specific camera and battery type. The other is to have multiple batteries and switch them out when one is running low. Not ideal but useful if you're in a spot with no available power outlets. As for the audio, as long as the levels are adjusted properly when everyone is playing, you should have any distortion.

    The audio is biggest issue. I recommend to get the audio into the camera to ensure video and audio sync. Even with good USB audio interface or mic input on the computer. BMD ATEM mini is also very good for multicam setup. Using Zoom is also another option where the Slides and Video are both available and also steam to Facebook or KZread

We tease each other about our cameras. Ok, so what I need to know is how do we connect the digital sound board to our computer so not only will OBS read the sound of our mics, but also so when we stream live to Facebook our audience will hear everything clear? Unfortunately we are using a PC for now, I am trying to get them to move to a iMac. Please help us figure this out.

    If your board can connect the computer via USB then there's a good possibility you can get the audio over to the computer by that connection. Just a matter of configuring the board and obs to speak to each other. If your board can't do that then you'll need to connect an aux mix from the board to the line-in of the computer. Another option is to use a USB audio interface. What mixer board are you using?

    To be clear, you have the 90D, EOS Webcam Utility, and OBS installed on the laptop? Is it that you are you having issues physically connecting the 90D to the XPS 15 because of the physical ports on the laptop? If so, you'd probably need a USB-C to USB-A adapter as I believe those laptops only have USB-C ports.

    Hi. I've been looking at a couple of your streams and the mix sounds amazing. I know in the video you talked about sending creating a stream mix with a mix bus but did you recently move from a mixbus to a multitrack broadcast mix in a daw with the macbook?

    Hello. Yes you are correct. We are now using the DAW Reaper for our live streams with the X32 as a backup in case there is an issue with the program/computer, which thankfully we haven't had happen.

    This is super useful info, seeing that you are using DSLRs that have limited battery capacity how do you ensure your cameras remain on for at least 2-3 hours that a typical service lasts for?

  • @RestTabernacle

    @RestTabernacle

    3 жыл бұрын

    Depending on your camera, one battery may last for the service. But for most cameras you will have to change batteries. You can also use a dummy battery that plugs into power. We have a video coming up soon, that addresses this more in detail.

    You'd have to somehow get a 1/4 Male Threaded Camera Screw on that pole then the you can screw the camera onto it.

    This video helped me out so much. Just getting our live streaming started. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T5 that has auto focus, HDMI out, and video. Do you think this is an option to get us started? Also, can you tell me what settings I need to have the camera on? Thank you all and God Bless!

  • @RestTabernacle

    @RestTabernacle

    3 жыл бұрын

    We're glad the video helped you! Yes you can definitely get started with that camera. You can even just connect it to your computer and use the EOS Webcam Utility to get the picture. You can search on youtube on how others have set theirs up in OBS. We'll be putting together a video answering this exact question step by step in the next few days/weeks. As far as cameras settings go, you can try this to start: put the camera it in Manual mode, set your frame rate to 30 FPS, set your ISO to auto, and your shutter speed to 60. For more control of you can even dial in the iso manually if you wish. www.canon.ca/en/Features/EOS-Webcam-Utility

  • @RestTabernacle

    @RestTabernacle

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes you can, however you'll need to get a HDMI Switch. The Switch would connect to the capture card and then the Cameras to the switch. 1 thing to note however, all switches are not made equal, so try to find one that has no delay when you switch the input. Otherwise your feed will black out for a second or 2 while its connecting to the next camera. Or, you could look into getting something like the ATEM Mini or Feelworld Livepro L1 which are designed just for that purpose. Another option would be one of the Magewell capture cards that you can install into your desktop.

    Hello Luguann. Thank You for watching!All the major brands, (Canon, Nikon, Fuji, and Sony) have now implemented software that allows their newer cameras (and some older ones) to act as webcams. We've only used the Canon EOS Utility ourselves so can't speak on how the quality is of the others.
