The guest composer at the end is pretty talented !! Not afraid to go off road and sit on "matrix" modulation expérimental land !!

2:02:36 The arrival of Jean Meowchel Jarre... ) You should upload the cat sequence separately, it's a must have... )
I think Arturia have improved the most out of all the companies since the days of the Minibrute, this sounds amazing and I was blown away by the Minifreak

Two years … is how long it’s taken for me to go from zero to total Arturia fanboy 😂
Your music always helps me drift off into a daydream. Great stuff.
Thank you very much for the nice presentation. This synthesizer is an absolute dream machine. For me the best investment in a long time. Even my Alesis Andromeda made room for this super synth. One thing is certain for me, I won't give this thing away again.
Tycho can really do the jams!
Absolutely ADORE my polybrute, I’ve not had it long and havent explored even a 5th of what it’s capable of, but i do find myself completely lost in it (in a good way) for hours on end…….
Reminds me of the first Mass Effect OST - good times. Marvelous, beautiful, melancholic, glorious and abstractly exploring a galaxy of harmonies as always. Thank you, StateAzure, as always a deeply pleasing experience. ✨🙏✨

Toward the end he achieves absolute purrity as well. 😺 Tycho's appearance at the end was truly bliss. :)
marvellous music as always ST, i have bought Reminisce EP from Bandcamp, and listen to it, magnificent album, the album cover made me cry so beautiful , this month a year has passed since our cat Milo died, i missed him a lot, i remember thinking always, how beautiful creatures there are, the always appear perfect in photos... not my case...

Sorry for Milo, Igor. It's so sad that our pets have such short lives compared to our own. But it's our responsibility to make their time here fun, comfortable and secure and be there for them. If we do that and they've had a good life, we should be happy about this!

@@stateazure of course i always smile when i remember all my pets...and they were very well care of..
I was under the impression the cat was going to play. But you did a nice job also :)
That's a quality cat in the thumbnail!
Lovely that, Stacks upon stacks of treats. 👌💖💪
(2:02:36) After two hours, the star of the show finally arrives! 😻👍
From zero to hero ... keep working this combo ... huge potential .
Yet another gorgeous synth
Beautiful!
Beautiful cat and great music ^_^
Always amazing music
I spend half my life removing various cats from my synths...I recently had a foster cat who was a bit obsessed with the light show on my hydrasynth.
Tell us more about your assistant! And why isn't there a mention of him in your gear list :) I have some fun things but not a copilot.
Great music !
🌹💙 I love this! 💕 Thanks! 👍
You can laugh at me, but what sold me on the PB was the African Qween preset as a starting point.
Hah! I cant keep my cat off my music gear either.the music / video is excellent as always - many thanks.

He usually don't jump up there, but I think he smelled 'new' synth and had to check things out for himself :) They do jump on my main desk a lot though!
Hydrasynth + polybrute... maybe some day.... This two devices are on top-top-top of my short wish-list (arturia polybrute, asm hydrasynth, korg radias).
Just bought the polybrute, it will arrive tomorrow!
Pollybrute is on my wish list ( with Cosmos ) ! Nice improv!

@@stateazure I agree☺️
Enjoyed the video thanks mate. Interesting to see how you use your Polybrute with the other devices. How would you compare your Summit to the Polybrute? Which do you prefer?
@stateazure
Жыл бұрын
They are quite comparable I think, but it would be hard to choose from either. Summit is cheaper, smaller and lighter, 3 oscillators vs 2 and has a LOT more polyphony i.e.16 vs just 6 on the Polybrute. That's the biggest difference. Polybrute is more true analog from oscillators to filters etc. Whereas Summit is more of a hybrid, mostly digital/analog modelled except the filter. I'm just finishing up my first commercial soundset on the Summit, and it's been interesting to compare the difference in sound and sound design on these synths, although neither is better than the other imo, they're both capable of very different sounds (they can also do many of the same). I do feel like the sound design potential of the Polybrute is a bit larger, with more expressive control, the morph capability, the matrix and 3 layers of sequencer modulation etc, dual filters...there is a LOT to shape the sounds with. Summit feels quite a bit more limited, but can definitely create some gorgeous warm sounds, and makes up for it with the 3rd oscillator, wavetables, more voices and some of the best FX i've heard on a synth. You also lack the sequencer (amazing on the Polybrute), though it does have an arp and you lack the expressive control. I don't even know which I would chose if I could only have one, because I would miss the Summit's 16 voice, which is a HUGE plus especially for the price and bare in mind you can layer and spit basically 2 entire Peak's together with 8 voices each. You can layer and split on the PB, but you have only 6 voices. They both sound beautiful, I think PB can probably do many more 'out there' kind of sounds and get more wild, where Summit is a bit more laid back, soft.

@@stateazure Thank you my friend for the comparison. I reckon you could run the PB sounds through the Summits FX too, I have experimented runing the Arturia Mini Brute 2 and also the Behringer 2600 through the Summit, really opened up another world to those instruments. Once again thanks brother.👍 P.S..i Will keep a lookout for when I'll be able to purchase your commercial sound set from you for the Summit? Brilliant news.👍
Many, many thanks for your music. It's 18:52 and we continue today with Klaus Schulze-- The Theme: The Rhodes Elegy. .... :-)
Damn, this is hypnotic. It's like an energetic and internal massage as well. ❤
Tycho has some wild markings, looks straight out of the jungle. I was going to ask if he teaches ambient production... I could use any help I can get
Tycho seems to be a bit less behaved around synthesizers than Martin Stürzer's Neptun - but a nice bonus in both cases! Build quality seems to be fine, as it seems … 😁

I've heard Neptun make a contribution on a keyboard at least once. 😁 But he didn't make himself at home on it like Tycho did, for sure. They're both so cute, can't complain.
That's a beautiful cat
Polybrute is high up on my list
You're so much better at your craft than I am at any of mine that it inspires some self-hate. Your music is so good and I love it so much that I hate myself a little bit. Well done.
@stateazure
Жыл бұрын
Well this would be a very awkward comment to reply 'thanks' to! Self-hate is never a good thing, maybe your use of such a strong word is a little exaggerated? I get the feeling though. I experience the same listening/watching artists that I feel are better at something (I'm not saying I'm better than anyone), and especially people that can play piano well because it reminds me how bad I am. I don't self-hate, but I can often feel lacking, jealous or frustrated/annoyed at myself. I use this as motivation to self-improve and get better. My music theory/knowledge is still crap and way below the level I feel it should be at my age and experience, my piano playing is decent but not great and nowhere near the level I wish it were and overall a lot of my music, I think, is very derivative and unoriginal (except during an early creative peak). These things I'm trying to improve almost daily, and I'm improving slowly, but still it's sometimes good to get a reminder to keep going and never stop improving.
