ATC’s are Artist trading cards. These small works of art are traded around the world. Like pen pals but with other artists. ATC’s are a great way to share and collect original art and make friends worldwide. I am on the Art Sherpa ATC Design Team and I want to make sure that EVERYONE who wants to play has the basics to do it!
There's a couple ways to pay in the Swap group that I'm in but only one way to possibly get a piece of art I created.
Free Art Sherpa ATC Club - You trade just 1 ATC Card and send 1 loose stamp in the envelope with the card.
OR
3 month Subscription Club- You trade up to 2 ATC Cards and you don't have to send any postage. (This is World Wide!) (this is the group that I'm swapping in)

Thanks Stephanie and Mark for doing this. Learned a few things I want to try now for the ATCs that I wouldn't have thought of. And I see Mark got one of my first ATCs. That is awesome. I can't wait to see what you all come up with for May.

Oh, wow this sounds like so much fun! Love crafting and painting so this might be a lot of fun. I really like how you find ways to cut cards out of things we recycle etc... good reason to buy matte medium and already have gloss medium and varnish. So many ways to explore. This is exciting! This has been a delightful hour thank you Stephanie and Mark I have watched you both since I began in February 2018 it is so fascinating to me. I finally know what an ATC card is they should be lots of fun to make. have fun at your get together if I understand
So informative! I just bought some watercolor paper for ATCs but I totally had all I needed at home! Lol. So great to see this perspective, so creative and refreshing. Thanks Stephanie!

Super video Stephanie. I started making ATCs last year using Graphic 45 material. I stuck lace and ribbon on several of them too. They are really intricate. I think I have 11 cards to date. I haven't tried anything else since though. I am thinking about joining the 3 month subscription group. It would ensure I made at least two pieces of ATC art per month. I have picked up more good tips from your video too. Thank you so much. Hugs xxx

... what is the ATC card used for ? If I made some, what would I use it for? ... oops, I see it explained in the more info box 🙂
I don’t know if someone already asked this but, If we do an acrylic painting on a card, do we varnish it? Will is stick to the slip covers? Thank you for your help! ❤️❤️❤️🎨🎨🎨

I spray varnish mine, and leave them overnight. They dry pretty fast, and I’ve never had a problem with them sticking.
