Enjoying the livestream some great information as always.

Love the video cory and I have been doing the hour a day in the fish room and I’m loving it keep up the grate videos

Caught the beginning of the stream and missed the rest, glad there's always the replay and the podcast for while I'm working. for life. I have 3 of the CO-OP feeders all 3 worked

I did a water change my 20g tall and my 5g. Clean the glass in both aquariums put some easy root taps. While I enjoyed this live stream again. Thanks Cory.

When I buy an excavator or loader/bobcat, it comes with 'free' maintenance/ service for life, but those $2-300k brand new... Even the used ones I've bought, the service is transferable for the life of the that machine...! I'm really glad I've never had to send one of those back...! Thanks and keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today....!

As a lawn service business owner, I've NEVER heard Snapper called high end...! Hilarious...! They haven't been since the 70s...! My mowers are $15k minimum...! All gas, ZERO ELECTRIC...!!!

I’m sorry to hear about the riding mower issue, I had similar with a refrigerator that stopped working within a week I got the round around thru them lucky for me I purchased the 5 yr warranty with Lowe’s and they took care of me. They swap the fridge with one of my choice I did have to take it back as it was

I have learned from other people, gently heat the adhesive with something like a lighter. Takes a little bit of trial and error to know exactly how much to heat it. Really makes a difference and will improve the odds of it sticking and staying stuck. Hooe this helps whoever has ever had trouble with foam tape type adhesives

For those waiting on the strips... Be patient they're worth the wait. I've had mine since the 1et release. Even with the wonky pads they have NEVER failed me. I've tested them against my maste kit and Everytime they are spot on. Haven't used my API kit in months!! And @aquarium co-op tomorrow can't get here fast enough. My Pink Flamingo should be and I'm beyond excited I finally was able to get one .... Thank you Nerm alerts ❤️😂

Bird seed in a 1 gallon tub with a few holes for moths will make small grubs about a 1/2 inch long, you just need to invert a matching one for them to climb up on, they are attracted to light. They will all crawl up to the light when they are grown and ready to pupate making collection easy. Just another protein rich live food for those that like to feed that way.

Great live stream. Only got to watch part of it live cause I had to pick up blue dream shrimp and blue Moscow guppies. They are acclimating in my tank while I watch the replay.

Your lawnmower experience is exactly why I bought a gas one... Granted I wanted an electric one, but there is too much of a failure rate or longevity issue still on larger electric power equipment

Weird, my experience is the exact opposite. The two gas mowers I’ve had always had engine problems or some other issue but my electric one is immortal.

The Co-Op strips really are fantastic, definitely worth getting when they're in stock.

When I had a bad Fluval light they made me cut the cord right next to the light, so unless I broke into the light to re-soder it it would be broke. But they did send me a new light.

Don't think they're ready for sale yet, but, if you haven't already, you should check out Goliad Farms' Redtail blue tuxedo variatus platies (release date of video May 21, 2021). Gorgeous Platy. Thought of you and your breeding projects as soon as I saw them. Charles did say they don't have enough livebearers to offer them for sale yet, but this past week they set up breeding tanks for this variety. (So maybe by the end of the summer.)

I came to watch a few Aquarium Co-op videos after an off topic discussion regarding climate. Your videos helped jumpstart my aquarists enthusiasm, so I figure this may be a good place to address the following... I had included in the discussion my aquariums and fish friends, as it pertains to biodiversity as well as climate impact. I try to be mindful of the environmental impact of my fish keeping. On further research following the discussion, I found that I care for and am breeding at least four vulnerable or endangered species (some of which I knew were endangered, others I did not know). From here I want to ensure I implement all measures available to me in the interest of promoting healthy and sustainable fish keeping, as well I would like to step up my involvement in protecting and conserving vulnerable species. I am not sure where to start, so this outreach is the first step. Any information and direction would be greatly appreciated. The fish in my aquariums are some of my best friends, even to be considered family members, and I would like to ensure their families and genetic diversity persists well into the foreseeable future. Thank you for your time and concern.

@ Aquarium Co-Op To your question around the 8 minute mark about exchanging fish nerd to nerd. Why hasn't the aquarium hobby adopted the use of the decentralized blockchain exchanges. It's a peer to peer transaction system and you can sell your products on a global open market. If the fish hobby made their own decentralized platform then all fish could be sold without the middle man.

Hi Cory, how are you getting on? I watch your channel on & off for the past year from Ireland 🇮🇪. I really enjoy your videos and Girl talks Fish.. I have a quick question for you, i increased to a 33 gallon tank. I put in some cuttings from my plant in my old tank. Sone of the leaves are going black, however, there appears to be a lot of new growth aabd new leaves, or more leaves appearing, it would appear to me, that the old is helping the new. Is it okay to leave the leaves going black in the tank? Thank you for your advice and help.. Stay safe. 🍀

Hey Cory..how do you tell how many lumen s on L.E.D. lamps for small 1 1/2 gal jar nano filterless desk tanks? I figured the most is better but is there a huge difference fron 5-7 watt LED's?

I wanna breed Pinoy bumblebee angels but they’re so hard to find.

I wish I bred more live-bearers than guppies. I also do EBA, dwarf neon rainbows, and BN super reds. I'm Pwilly07 on Aquabid and I will have about 12 kinds of guppies on there soon. I have about 5 or 6 kinds now. Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Do your Rams still come from Dean? If not where can I get some German Blues from Dean?

I usually love these live streams because you talk fish and fish keeping and a lot less fluff. Today was a lot of other stuff that has nothing to do with fish. Lawn mower? Still a fan but being honest.

Strangely, for me some of the general business content is what Cory does best. I totally get your point though as I would be having the same gripe on other channels that stray from their main topic. At least he was using his lawn mower experience to illustrate a point directly related to customer service in his own industry. He wasn't waffling on about some celebrity or about politics.

If you have a water softener. Can the water softener strip all the nutrients out of the water that is good for fish

Not only can, but most likely will. Water softeners tend to use salt which allows the system to replace calcium and magnesium ions with sodium. So not only does it take those minerals away it’s adding in sodium.

I should update the whole lawnmower fiasco on the next live stream. It's now been sent away for 2-3 months....

Imagine being a fired customer of a brand that is literally designed to make our job as fish keepers the easiest it can possibly be 😂 like how? Every product from the coop works like it’s supposed to 👌🏽

Can I ask why would my tap water be 7.2ph but my tank water is 7.8ph even after a big-ish water change. How does that work?

Could be something in your tank that's raising pH, the lime in bricks can do it, alot of volcanic rock maybe, the cheap 'matrix' pumice stone can raise pH (filter media) or certain substrates etc, but to actually test your tap water put a air stone in say half a bucket of water for 24-48 hours then test the pH, water company may be using chemicles to artificially raise/lower ph aswell.

@@adamplevey8385 thank you for your reply. My tank is planted with some seiryu stone, which it says can raise hardness but I also have about 12kg of fluval stratum which usually lowers ph. I suppose the seiryu stone must outweighs the stratum and Gh (which is only 5) and Ph are linked. I will certainly try the bucket/ air stone test. Thank you again.

our videos and pictures help you, figure out what might need to be fixed, etc. I helped Jimmy Johns fix their website, it had Oatmeal cookies in one part of the order screen, but not others.

That's hilarious that a seller, especially Fluval, would make a customer further damage a product. On Samsung phones there's an erase wizard in photo editing that works SCARY WELL. Tap an object or drag an outline around something to erase and the AI replaces the object with an approximation of what the background should look like. Depending on context, it's dead on, too. Would be easy to erase a section of power cord, honestly... just demonstrates what a silly thing it is to ask of a customer...

I'm not sure that is true, maybe if they've been bred outdoors for a few generations.
